Goodlife Community Church

Goodlife Community Church Join us at 10am each Sunday and throughout the week. Therefore we believe that if God created life, life has value and purpose.

We have a simple faith, we believe that God really loves us, he calls us to walk in his ways and love one another. We believe the BIG story:

As recorded in the Bible in the book of Genesis (beginnings) God created the world and very intentionally created life. Genesis - God created life - therefore life has purpose. The Bible later records the words of Jesus Christ telling people that God loves

people and that he had come to let people know. Therefore we believe that if God sent Jesus to let people know they are loved, love has expression. Jesus - God loves people - therefore love has expression. Another writer of the Bible, known as Paul, taught a simple principle that we should actively love people as God does and be involved in their lives for good. Therefore we express love and care by building into people's lives in all areas; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Paul - We should love people and do good - therefore we build community.

Father's Day was so encouraging as Mike reminded of the Father heart of God, and his great love for us. We also had a wonderful panel of men who shared their own wisdom, experiences and insights on how faith shapes us, inspires us to become better parents, and helps us grow as people.

Happy Father’s Day!

Today we’d love to wish all the dads, grandads and father figures in our community a very Happy Father’s Day! We're looking forward to celebrating with you this morning.

It takes patience, sacrifice, wisdom, love and plenty of hard work to be a parent. Today is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and say thank you to the dads who make a difference in the lives of their families.

We also recognise that Father’s Day can bring a mix of emotions, and it isn't an easy day for everyone. Whether you're grieving the loss of a dad, missing a child, navigating a difficult relationship, longing to be a dad, or simply find today challenging, we see you.

If today is difficult, be gentle with yourself. Give yourself permission to choose something that brings you comfort, peace or even a little smile.

Ladies, why not take some time to slow down, breathe and reconnect with God?

We'd love to invite you to our final Women's Retreat for 2026, happening Friday 16 October to Sunday 18 October.

Our Women's Retreats are a beautiful opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life and spend a weekend connecting with God and with women from across the generations at Goodlife.

With just 14 women maximum, the retreats are intentionally small, creating space to slow down, get to know one another and build genuine connections.

Throughout the weekend, you'll enjoy:

◽️Guided devotions and intentional time with God
◽️Encouraging conversations, prayer and time together in small groups
◽️️Sharing meals and enjoying plenty of good conversation
◽️Time to explore the beautiful property
◽️Space to rest, recharge and simply switch off

We've seen God move in beautiful and unexpected ways through our retreats this year and in previous years. We believe these weekends create a special space to listen, reflect, encourage one another and grow in faith.

If you've been thinking about coming along, why not pray about it and consider joining us this October? ❤️

Dates: Friday 16 October - Sunday 18 October 2026
Cost: $215 including accommodation and meals

We need to finalise bookings by the end of September so don't wait too long to register! Book now via the link below.

Missed church on Sunday? You’ll want to catch this one!

Joren brought a fresh perspective to three healing stories in Matthew 8, highlighting something easy to miss: each person Jesus encountered was someone the religious community of the time would have considered an outsider or unworthy.

Yet Jesus reached out to each of them.

These stories point us to a beautiful truth: Jesus came for everyone. No one is beyond His reach, and no one is outside the invitation of His grace.

Jesus' death on the cross wasn't the end. It was the beginning of something new.

On Sunday Julie brought us a fantastic challenge asking are we going deep in our faith? Do our lives just look shiny on the surface or is our faith becoming something more solid that shapes and moves us? It's a message that mirrors Jesus' teachings in Matthew, challenging people if they were obeying the letter of the law, or the heart and purpose of the law.

If you weren't able to be with us on Sunday, don't miss out! Catch up now via the Goodlife Community Church Podcast and YouTube channel via the link below.
