Have you had so many challenges one after another?

Has it been overwhelming few months?

Does that sound like the enemy coming like a flood?

Isaiah 59:19

What does God say?

"The Spirit of the Lord will then raise a standard against them"

This signify God's protection and intervention during those times when the enemy sends a flood of troubles.

The image of a flood is used to depict an overwhelming and destructive force.

Just as a flood can quickly cover an area, the sickness, diagnosis, money problems is the enemy can arrive and take away your joy and peace.

Isaiah 59:19

This verse is a promise that even in the face of overwhelming adversity, God's Spirit will intervene.

The "standard" refers to like Gods Banner.

God will provide guidance, strength, and a means of defense against the enemy.

God will intervene and protect.

It's a message of hope and resilience in the face of difficulty.

How were you holding up?

How many of those contacts on your phone dropped by to empower and encourage you?

Which family and friends prayed with you?

Did God send strangers to comfort you?

I know He did to me.

God will meet you where you are at.

Its time to clean up your contacts list

We worry about so many things

Till there is a health issue

Then it is the only thing that worries us.

Health is your wealth.

If you have a bad health

All that money

All that material things

Will mean nothing at all.

Invest in healthy lifestyle now

Our days are filled with busyness.

We go to bed tired

And wake up tired.

Our fingers hurt holding the phone so much

We pretend we are loved because we have so many social media followers.

We collect things we don't use

We buy to fill many voids.

We have so msny followers

We have so many people on our contact list

We have so much

We are still alone and
Sleepless
Depressed

What is wrong in this scenario?

Suddenly it makes sense
When God said do not stack yourself treasures on earth where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal....

Matthew 6:19-21

Somehow this wisdom comes later in life and maybe to fortunate people.

We chase after jobs, education to buy us materials things but for some reason, it is never enough.

The more we have, the more we want.

If we are honest to ourselves, we know we do not need that many shoes, handbags, clothes, dishes etc. Houses....cars....

There was a big time preacher who died alone in a hotel room far away from home.
He had a massive house and many many very expensive cars in his special shed and private jets....

He had no time to use it all and could not take it with him.

How many rooms in your house no one uses?

How many bathrooms that no one uses?

If you are over 50, or 60, you will understand how less we need to be happy.

All those things we were fooled into believing was important, does not hold any value any longer.

Even money that you cannot use if your health is not good.

If health is not good there is no joy, no peace, no fulfilment.

That money you accumulated, you realise is not valuable.
That you actually worked so much so hard not for yourself

but for others who will enjoy it after you.

So whatever age you are right now,

Do not stress about tomorow. Let God.

Take a day at a time. Today will never come back.
So live for today and enjoy today.

Tomorow is not promised to anyone.

Wear your best today.
Eat the best today.
Love and give today.

Tomorrow works out itself.

Just today give us our daily bread.

As your days are, so shall your strength be" (Deuteronomy 33:25)

What does it even mean?

God will provide the strength needed for each specific situation or day.

Whatever you are going through that day, God will make a way.

Just as in the old times, the Children of Israel could not keep extra manna, as it would go bad. They could only collect enough for the day.

It implies that grace and help will be available for that particular situation to meet the unique needs of each moment.

God will provide exactly the strength required for the tasks of the day.

Deuteronomy 33:25, "As your days are, so shall your strength be," is a promise that God will provide the necessary strength and power for each individual day or situation.

God has thought much higher and better than yours.

Prayer and worship is the key.

Cast down every other negative thoughts.

How often we have asked the same question, "Do you not care I have no money, do you not care I'm not well, do you not care I lost my job, do you not care....... do you not care...."

God said, "May are the afflictions of the righteous"

Yes many aches and pains, lack, other afflictions, but for a little while.

Time and season
