The faithful of the Church of the East in Brisbane gathered in prayer and thanksgiving to participate in the celebration of the Holy Qurbana commemorating St Shmuni and her seven sons, as well as the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Shamuel, who led the congregation in worship and prayer, reflecting on the inspiring example of St Shmuni and her sons, whose steadfast faith and unwavering devotion to God remain a powerful witness for Christians today. Fr. Shamuel also spoke about the virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary, highlighting her humility, obedience, and faithfulness to God's will.
