Parenting is one of the most purposeful journeys; do it with so much love and intention. Every conversation, every correction, every word of encouragement you give your child today is shaping their tomorrow.

Don’t underestimate the power of your guidance; even on the days it feels like they aren’t listening, they are watching and learning. Childhood experiences do not disappear. They become adult behaviours.

“Evangelism has always been the heartbeat for our ministry; it is what God has called us to do.”
– Billy Graham 🔥🙏🏾

Today, we had the privilege of going out into our community to share the crucial message of God's merciful love. Our mission was simple: to proclaim the Good News that God is not willing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance and the knowledge of the truth.

We thank God for every person we met and every seed that was planted. May hearts be opened to receive His love, mercy, and truth.

In Luke 14:1-6, Jesus went to eat at the house of a prominent Pharisee on the Sabbath, where a man suffering from dropsy stood before Him. The religious leaders watched Jesus closely, waiting to catch Him doing wrong. Jesus asked them directly “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” They stayed silent. He healed the man and sent him away, then challenged them further, if your son or ox fell into a pit on the Sabbath, would you not immediately pull him out? Again, they had no answer.

This passage warns us about a dangerous religious condition of having knowledge of God’s word but losing the heart behind it. The Pharisees studied Scripture daily yet used it as a weapon of judgment rather than a guide to mercy. They watched Jesus with suspicion while a suffering man stood right in their1 midst.

In our world today, it is easy to become so focused on religious routine like attending services, following traditions and keeping appearances, that we overlook the hurting people around us. God desires mercy, not sacrifice (Matthew 9:13). Every person we encounter is an opportunity to reflect God’s compassion.

Let’s ask ourselves today: Are we so caught up in religious rules that we have forgotten how to be kind?

True faith isn’t found in how well we keep traditions. it is found in a heart that loves God and loves people without hesitation. Amen 🙏
