There’s something really special about coming together as a parish family.

💕 Today’s Parish Ladies Lunch at the Pineapple Hotel was a beautiful opportunity to celebrate friendships, old and new, share plenty of laughter, and enjoy one another’s company.

Grateful for the gift of belonging, and for the wonderful friendships that continue to grow within our parish community. What a lovely day together! 🌷

Today at our 9.00 am mass at St Joseph’s, we were delighted to welcome some of the children who will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in August.

The children presented Father Peter with their enrolment for Confirmation, marking an important step in their journey of faith.

They are warmly supported and prayed for by our parish community, and we wish each of them every blessing as they continue their preparation towards Confirmation. May this be a special and grace-filled time for them and their families. 🙏 🔥

Archbishop Shane Mackinlay announces Mr Peter Hill as new Executive Director of Brisbane Catholic Education. Peter will commence in the role on 26 October 2026 and brings extensive executive leadership experience, deep personal commitment to Catholic education and a strong understanding of the mission and communities of Brisbane Catholic Education to the role. Today we were delighted to celebrate the Baptism of baby Hugo at St Joseph’s.

Surrounded by his family, friends, and our parish community, Hugo was baptised by Fr Peter Dillon, beginning a wonderful journey of faith in Christ.

We give thanks for this special day and pray that God will bless Hugo always, guiding him with His love and grace. May the Holy Spirit be his constant companion, and may his family continue to be strengthened as they nurture him in faith.

Congratulations to Hugo and his family. Welcome to the St Joseph’s family! 💙🙏
