Glorious weather for our celebration mass of 70yrs of Passionist Fathers being at the Fort, St Mary’s Retreat, Oxley. Celebrated by Archbishop Emeritus Mark Coleridge & Passionists fathers Ray, Luke, Truc & Deacon Martin & a large gathering of people. We sang, prayed & was blessed by all the celebrations. Natures birds even came to give thanks. 2 Kookaburras calls were heard just before the communion was being distributed.
Morning tea followed, heritage tours, blessings of artwork & ceremonial tree planting. A great celebration indeed for the community. A ForTaste of the Palace as Archbishop Emeritus said in his homily.

Saturday -
9am Paraliturgy with Fr Luke Bulley on feast day Mary Queen of heaven. 9:30am Morning Tea,
10:15am Fr Ray to give presentation on the history of the Fort.
11:30am - 2:30pm Heritage tours in small groups, photo display, walk on grounds.

Sunday - Mass at 8:15am (out on the lawn - weather permitting) with Archbishop Emeritus of Brisbane, Archbishop Mark Coleridge & Passionist fathers.
9:30am morning tea - Bring a plate to share.

11am onwards- Heritage tours & photo display, walk on grounds
1:30pm - ceremonial tree planting
