Some of us grew up without the presence of a father or mother. Some had to learn how to navigate life without the love, guidance, or comfort that a parent should have given.

But Psalm 27:10 reminds us that even when people are absent, God is not. He sees the child who felt forgotten, embraces the heart that experienced rejection, and reminds us that we have a Father who will never leave us.

Maybe you didn’t receive the love you needed growing up, but you can still discover the perfect love of your Heavenly Father today.

Today, we honour and celebrate all the amazing dads. Above all, we give thanks to our Heavenly Father, the source of every good and perfect example of love. May His heart be reflected through every father and father figure as they lead, serve, and love their families.
