Sunday 6th September 2026.

To God be the glory great things He continues to do for our community. 👏🏿🥳

Today we celebrated our annual PNG Independence Mass at Nudgee college Chapel celebrating 51st years of Independence. Huge thank you to Nudgee College for hosting us especially the staff, students & friends who were present.

To our Stuarthholme girls, thank you so much for joining us for the first time. You're always welcome.

What a joyous & Spirit filled Celebration of the Holy Eucharist! Music was Heavenly ! Prayers were prayed in different languages. Faith truly expressed lively integrated with our diverse & unique culture. Families came dressed in traditional attire & in bright PNG colours.The Chapel was filled with bright & beautiful colours ! Praise God!

Special mention & mega thanks to our Queensland Kairuku group for lifting our hearts with the powerful entrance & exit traditional Processional song & dance.🙏🏿🔥

We concluded with yummy late lunch of whole roast pork, variety of PNG cussine in the hall also sharing yummy Independence Cake , Fathers' Day cake & a birthday cake. The day was enjoyed by all.😄

Sincere thanks to our Main Celebrant Fr Paul Sireh, concelebrant Fr Tony , choir, the readers, those who took part in the Processions, did offertory etc etc & everyone else who worked behind the scenes to make this day beautiful.

Thanks so much everyone for another Spirit-filled, enjoyable and successful celebration.
It is such a wonderful feeling of family togetherness.

Great team work as always.
God is good all the time!

May He continue to bless and protect us.

This Sunday we will have our Annual PNG Independence Mass celebrating it's 51st years. 🇵🇬🇵🇬🇵🇬

Come! Come and join us joyfully thanking God for our beautiful country, 🇵🇬 it's beauty, languages, it's unique diverse Culture etc & of course our Faith shared in different tokples in songs, dance, dressing & Prayers ! Praise God!

It's also Fathers' Day! Come! Let's give thanks to God for our Fathers, who tirelessly work to provide for us.

Listen Fathers! ..And....There is a surprise prize for a BEST dressed Father! Woohoo! 🎉 So come in your best dressed with a touch of PNG 🇵🇬 Bilas since it's our Inde Mass! Lik lik Bilas tasol.😃

Yes! Yes! Also, there will be yummy lunch shared especially our PNG kaikai... Don't forget to bring a plate of food to share.🥰
