Hi Everyone! The Lenten Season focuses on 3 pillars: Prayer, Fasting & Almsgiving 🤲🏼 For our youth who are participating this year, in order to fulfil the pillar of ‘Almsgiving’ everyone has set a dollar value between $2-$10 to donate towards our youth each day. Each person is encouraged to gather their own sponsors to help get through the 40 days of lent & with your support we hope that it’ll help drive their sacrifice but also navigate their own journey through lent. Here are a couple of our members talking about their sacrifice, their why and what the hope to achieve. Stay tuned for more 🥹🙌🏽🙏🏽

This year members of our youth will be participating in the season of Lent. The 40 days of lent mirrors Jesus’ 40 days of temptation in the desert. It’s a time of repentance, renewal & return to God through prayer, fasting and almsgiving.

For each day of Lent, they will be giving up something meaningful — and in place of it, have set a dollar amount every day that they will be donated towards our youth. Every sacrifice whether big or small becomes an opportunity to give, grow, and make a difference.

So stay tuned to see how you can support them on this journey by sponsoring a youth member for a day (or even two) & help turn their Lenten sacrifice into love in action. ✨
