Living Church We love Jesus & we'd love to connect with you at Creek Road (Carina): Sunday 9:00am and 6:00pm

We love Jesus, and we’d love nothing more than to help you connect with him at one of our Sunday Services at 9am and 6pm

You don’t need to be good, religious, or have it all together to join us – Jesus is for everyone, so is our church.

It's time to start baking!

Hello beautiful church community,
After the amazing turn out last year we will be having another Bake Sale at this year's Christmas Carnival on 14th December. So this is a call out for everyone who enjoys a little baking, to start baking!
Hmm... cookies, slices, cupcakes, muffins, brownies, rocky road, white Christmas - so many options! Contributions can be delivered to the church in the week leading up to the Carnival or even dropped off on the morning of the Carnival It is best if items are packaged ready for sale and labelled with all ingredients to help our friends with allergies.
We have placed some big tubs at the far end of the auditorium to receive donations throughout the week (see photo) or they can be delivered to church anytime between 10.30am - 4pm on the Saturday 13th or even on Sunday morning.
Reach out if you have any questions!

Thanks!

This time next week it will be Carols!

Yesterday, some of the big Carols Team put together our Newcomers Bags. Thanks for all the hard work Team.

It is our hope that these bags will not only help our guests and visitors to feel welcomed but also point them to Jesus.

If you're bringing someone along to Carols, make sure they pick up one of these lovely creations.

The lovely thing about serving alongside people is that you get to spend time with them talking about Jesus. The slightly less lovely thing is that from time to time, people finish in a team or take some time off, and it’s sad not to spend as much time with them. The Grow Team are farewelling Jane and Dave Johnston, sort of.

Dave and Jane Johnston have been Growth Group Coaches for just two years, but their impact on the Grow ministry at Living Church has been greater than those two years. They have brought their love for Jesus to every interaction, every discussion, every meeting. Dave has gently explained theological truths, and Jane has brought her can-do attitude to the tasks around caring for our people. Jane prompted our team to document many of our decisions and reasoning – this will now become a resource that helps our team to continue and grow.

Jane and Dave started their relationship with the Coaches long before accepting our invitation to join our team. During the search for our new minister (yes, before James arrived), they joined us for planning and study, adding experience and knowledge to our deliberations.

Dave & Jane will continue as Growth Group Leaders, so they are only “sort of” leaving the Grow Team. Please join me in thanking God for Dave & Jane & for their ministry as Growth Group Coaches.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1Peter4:10
