At noon, darkness fell across the whole land until three o’clock. At about three o’clock, Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” which means “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?”

Today on Good Friday, we pause to remember the love and sacrifice shown through the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. May this sacred day draw our hearts closer to God in prayer. As we remember Christ’s sacrifice, may His love continue to strengthen our faith and guide our lives 🙌🏽✝️
