Today, The calendar of the Apostolic Johannite Church honours Holy Jacob Boehme—mystic, shoemaker, and prophet of the divine depths.

Born in 1575, Boehme was a German cobbler whose visionary writings opened the way for generations of seekers to rediscover the inner life of God. His insights into the interplay of light and darkness, the sevenfold nature of divine manifestation, and the soul’s journey toward union, continue to inspire Gnostics and mystics to this day.

For Boehme, true knowledge was not abstract—but born of inward experience, suffering, and grace. In his words: “The spirit sees into all things.”

May we, too, be granted such sight.

Beginning May 14: Walking With the Saints

You’re warmly invited to join us on the second Wednesday of each month as we explore the lives and spiritual teachings of some of history’s most profound mystics and visionaries as found in the Calendar of the Apostolic Johannite Church.

We begin this year’s journey with Saint Julian of Norwich—a radiant voice of divine love and hope.

Each session includes:

• A brief presentation on the saint’s life
• Guided discussion on an excerpt from their writings
• Time for reflection and shared insight
• Opening and closing prayers rooted in the spirit of the saint

Dates: Second Wednesday of each month (from May)

Dear friends,

Each year, the Apostolic Johannite Church gathers for Conclave—a time of learning, liturgy, and deep spiritual connection. This year marks our 25th Conclave, and I’d love for you to be part of it.

From May 8th–13th, we’ll be exploring the theme “Divine Union, Mysticism, and Theurgy”—both in Atlanta, GA, and online for those of us joining from around the world. Most of the talks, workshops, and key events are happening from Friday, May 9th to Sunday, May 11th.

If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about Johannite spirituality, connect with others on the path of Gnosis, or just sit in the presence of sacred conversation and community—you’ll find something deeply meaningful here. And the beauty is: you don’t have to be there in person to take part.

If travel isn’t an option, I especially encourage you to consider the online registration. It’s a powerful way to engage with the community, and your presence—wherever you are—is a gift to us all.
