A Call to Readiness and Revival

Dear friends,

The Australian Prophetic Council convened on September 19, 2024 and we’d like to share significant common themes and messages that emerged. These insights are vital for navigating our spiritual journey and role in society.

1. Holistic Readiness for the harvest: There was a call to prepare ourselves holistically—spiritually, physically, and mentally. The call was for a waking up of the bride from complacency to prepare for the harvest of souls coming. Healthy believers will be needed to both bring in the harvest and disciple an influx of new believers. This preparation is crucial for advancing spiritual growth and meeting the challenges ahead.

2. Breaking Personal Limits: It's time for each of us to break through personal limitations and grow in faith. We must actively stand against societal issues that threaten Christian values, especially within Australia.

3. The Role of Dreams and Visions: Recent dreams and visions have highlighted potential conflicts, emphasizing the critical need for collective prayer and spiritual readiness.

4 Spiritual Revival: A number of prophets have been hearing the Lord speak increasingly of revival and cleansing within our churches to support a global awakening. This will prepare believers to embrace and reflect God’s glory.

5. Advocacy for Righteousness: There’s a clarion call for believers to take up strategic roles in society, advocating for righteousness and influencing positive change.

6. Church Unity: Unity among churches is essential and will become an increasingly common theme in the days ahead. We will experience the treasures of unity as we gather around Christ. Together, the anointing and glory will be multiplied. According to Is. 58, those who will cooperate with the Holy Spirit’s prompting to put away the pointing of the finger and turn their weapons that had been used against other believers into plowshares for the harvest will be rewarded with the joy of a harvest of souls.

7. Australia's Role: Australia is positioned as a key player in spiritual transformation and leadership. We anticipate economic and spiritual prosperity that will support global revival.

8. Embracing Divine Love: Let us focus on yielding to divine love, achieving spiritual purity, and maintaining active worship and intercession for transformation. A strong call to increased pray and pray meetings and gatherings was a key theme. Let us continue to strike the ground in prayer to see the fullness of what the Lord desires to release come to pass (2 Kings 13:18-19).

9. Looking Forward: God’s heart is for us to overcome the challenges of our time through obedience to the Lord’s leading as we enter an era of miracles, global influence, and significant harvest. We invite you to join us in prayer and action as we step into the days ahead. Together, let's advance in faith and unity for the glory of God.

2024 Word of the Lord to Queensland

The Queensland Prophetic Council met together in early December to pray, prophesy, discuss and weigh the word of the Lord to Queensland for 2024. While not all individual words are captured here, there are key themes and major points that were established out of the mouth of multiple witnesses. We hope this word is a great encouragement and brings clarity and direction for the year ahead.

The Protection of the Lord
We sensed the Lord is calling his people to the place of prayer to build a wall of protection around Queensland so that nothing will pass over her borders or through her gates that is not of the Lord. There is a call to arms not out of fear but taking responsibility for what He has given us authority over to nurture. He wants to use every person in the Body of Christ to join as one in prayer to watch over this land.

He is calling us into the place of knowing Him as watchman and intercessors in 2024. He’s building us as the the army of the Lord, who would pray the strategy of the Lord. Just like Joshua had different strategies for different battles, we are called as a Joshua generation to watch over the State to see His kingdom come and His will done so this outpouring of the Holy Spirit can continue to increase.

Intimacy
The Lord is birthing a longing for the secret place. In the place of intimacy, we’re being invited to come up higher. “This is your ascension.” From the lovers seat, we’re being welcomed into the place of repentance. This is not out of condemnation or religious obligation, but as ones who see and recognise who He is, want to give all of ourself to Him.

In this place of intimacy, the new wine is being poured out and He is sending us out. The purpose of the new wine is that it would be shared. There is an acceleration and in the acceleration is the empowerment through intimacy, to go out. He is releasing us as sent out ones and the body of Christ is being released in this in 2024.

Destiny
According to Ezekiel 37, the bones are coming together and it is time to release the Ruach, the breath of God, into the army. As the breath comes, He is calling us to move with it.

The Hand of the Lord
When Elijah sent his servant, he had to go seven times to break see the drought broken. Seven is the number of completion. It is finished! There is going to be an abundance of the sound of rain. Queensland is going to be a strategic state, that the other states will look at in the outworking of the presence of God.

His hand isn’t short that He can’t save. He is opening up double doors for us to walk through and to walk through together. Because of your faithfulness in 2023, He is going to break open the hard places. The rebuilding has begun and He will complete it in 2024. When the double doors have been open, the gates will not be shut! He’s releasing a double anointing to see strongholds broken!

Activation in Intercession: We encourage you all to participate in this for Queensland, as the Lord leads you.

The Lord revealed a picture of a huge tree whose foliage spread across the entire state of Queensland. In the trunk were markings and runes, carved into the tree by witches and word curses spoken over the state. Incrementally, the tree would light up, producing fruit from the words that had been carved into the tree, and they would fall onto the ground.

Then Jesus came and wiped the trunk clean.

We sense this is a kairos moment and opportunity for the saints to speak out the promises of God and carve deeply, with their words, into the trunk of the tree. The words spoken will grow to produce fruit that will fall all over Queensland. According to the word of God, we will have what we say (Mark 11:23) so let’s declare His plans and purposes over this great state today.

Finally, we noted that rain and water were key themes that the Lord used to bring revelation from the Word, in dreams and analogies that were confirmed through multiples voices. We expect these themes will be apparent in 2024.

2023 Word of the Lord

The Australian Prophetic Council met together in January this year to discuss, prophesy and weigh the word of the Lord to Australia for 2023. While not all individual words are captured here, there are key themes and major points that were established out of the mouth of many witnesses.

Our hope is that they may edify and equip the Body of Christ in Australia and beyond to position themselves and receive by faith all the Lord wants to release to the nations.

Revival Wave
For many months now there have been prophesies, visions, dreams and prophetic words pointing to a revival wave that has hit Australia’s shores. This revival wave has been and will continue to be evidenced by an increase of the Spirit’s power: signs, wonders and notable miracles.

As it pertains to the harvest of souls, the revival wave will cause a surge of people to come to Christ. The field is white for the harvest and we continue to pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into the harvest (Matt. 9:38).

This revival wave will also combat the turmoil of the day. As the opposition to public promotion of the Gospel increases, so will the need for obedience and dependance on the Holy Spirit. This is not to be feared but to help make us aware of our greater need - bringing our ways to the Lord (Prov. 3:5-6).

He is doing a quick work in these days and as we maintain a posture of humility and are caught up in the revival wave ourselves, it will produce quick obedience resulting in exposure of the enemies plans.

The Equipping of the Saints
The five-fold ministry in the Church will grow and flourish in this era as its outworking is seen in the mobilisation of the saints. Everyday believers and lay people will be inspired to go and disciple the harvest. This is indeed necessary in light of the revival wave and influx of souls coming into the Body.

As the apostolic and prophetic grows into greater maturity, it will equip the saints in signs and wonders to again, play their part in this revival wave. The outworking of this will not necessarily be church-centric but the Church will be used as the training mechanism for this new wine skin, empowering believers throughout the nation to move in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Prayer Movement
Coinciding with this revival wave we will see great momentum and growth within the prayer movement. As the Church responds to the call to pray, houses of prayer will be established to birth the move of God across the nation. Prayer will also bring an acceleration in the maturing of the Bride, enabling her to be prepared so the nets don’t break as the harvest increases.

Holiness & Consecration
The Lord is doing a work in his Body to set us apart from the world (2 Cor. 6:17) There is a holiness and uprightness that He is calling us to in these days. He is delivering us from self, agreement with the world and calling us to consecration because He wants to use each one of us in the work of His Spirit.

And as He draws us to repentance, there will be a joy discovered in His Body as they flee from what is evil and hold fast to what is good (Rom. 12:9). This call to holiness is the work of the Spirit and as such, will produce freedom and not religion; lovers and not slaves.

Repentance is an environment for Jesus to be glorified and will produce restoration, not cancellation of individuals.

Divine Recompense
This year we be a year of turn around and recompense with all things being restored. This will continue beyond this year but 2023 will be a significant beginning of seeing the mighty hand of God bring recompense to us and vengeance upon the enemies of His people.

In this hour, the Lord is releasing favour that is enabling His beloved to step into a governmental authority to bring turnaround and recompense in the lives of their loved ones, families, cities and nations. There is an exposing of the enemy and his operations this year.

In 1 Samuel 30, David discovers that His wives, children and that of his men have been carried off by the Amalekites. As he and his men pursue them, David recovers all that was stolen as well as the livestock and land of the enemy. “So David recovered everything that had been taken…” (1 Sam. 30:18)

“I’ve come to recover all.” says the Lord.

Innovation & Economy
The Lord will release innovation to believers for the good of their communities in the days ahead. There will be entrepreneurial strategies and wisdom from marketplace leaders that will see the prospering of families despite the current economic climate.

The camels are coming to resource the Body of Christ. Call them in! There is provision for the Church available. Resources must come into the hands of the Body to enable the work of the ministry and to support communities in distress.

Words that Release Life
It’s very important that we are careful with our words in the days ahead. We have been instructed by the Lord to be slow to speak in order to bring words that will release healing to others and not tear them down.

It is important that we exercise discernment and are careful not to be presumptuous as we move into the year so we can continue to bless and bring life to those we encounter. “Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.” Prov. 16:24

When I woke this morning I heard the Lord say, “I’m releasing grace to shift gears.” There are many who have felt the Father calling them to shift ways of operating, thinking, perspectives, belief systems, places and spaces in their mind - and it’s felt like grinding gears. But the Lord says, “I’m releasing grace for you today to shift gears; to step into the new place and ways of operating I’m calling you to.”

Surrender is the key! As you go low, ask Him to confirm and transform your way of thinking to His way of operating. It will enable you to boldly step into the new and operate your faith for the new era we’ve entered.

Rom. 12:2 “Don’t be conformed to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is. His good, pleasing and perfect will.”

What a wonderful encouragement for this summer for our capital city, Brisbane.

Yesterday I had the privilege of praying with some wonderful Pastors & leaders from the beautiful city of Brisbane. As we were praying, I saw such a very clear & compelling prophetic vision for the city of Brisbane and her surrounding regions. In this vision I saw Somerset Dam, positioned on the outskirts of Brisbane. Somerset is a gated dam allowing controlled water releases during times of heavy rain. It is the regions oldest, and one of the largest water storages. It is also a popular leisure destination (one I grew up going to). In this vision, I saw various well known church & prophetic leaders from Brisbane standing on the gated section of the dam & praying for revival - united across denominations and movements in their prayers. As they prayed atop the gate of Somerset Dam, the Lord said very clearly, ‘summer is the set time of my outpouring for the city of Brisbane.’ And as this declaration was heard, water (a metaphor for His Holy Spirit) began gushing forth, breaking the gates & flowing out uncontrollably all across the South East Region of QLD. No longer were the ‘gates’ controlling how the water flowed! This was a revival flow of Holy Spirit water that nobody could control!

Did you know that the word ‘Brisbane’ is derived from the Scottish Gaelic "bris", meaning "to break or smash" and the Old English word "ban" meaning "bone". Could it be that God is about to smash or break open something over this city & that dry bones will come back to life? I believe so! I can see it. I can taste it. In this vision, I was immediately mindful of Habakkuk 2:14, ‘For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.’ I believe that Brisbane and her surrounds will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea! Would you join me in declaring this over Brisbane!

Summer is the set time! Let it be LORD!
