Act 2:1-4

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

The Bible tells a lot of stories of individuals speaking in tongues. It was specifically practised during the time of the early church in Act 2 when the Holy...

Dear friends,

let us come together in the presence of our creator to reflect on the blessings and challenges of our lives. Let us remember that love, compassion, and understanding are the foundations of a fulfilling existence.

In times of difficulty, let us turn to one another with open hearts and minds, offering support and guidance without judgment. Let us strive to be sources of light and hope in a world that can often seem dark and disheartening.

May we find strength in our faith, courage in our convictions, and peace in our actions. Let us always remember to show kindness to all beings, for in doing so, we honor the divinity that resides within each of us.

May our words be filled with wisdom, our actions guided by love, and our hearts open to the beauty of the world around us. And may we always be grateful for the abundance of blessings that surround us each day.

Amen.

This Was No Ordinary Death

Lets First Hear “All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name”(Acts 10:43).

Believe Jesus was crucified at a place we call Calvary. It was nine in the morning when soldiers nailed his hands and feet to the cross and then suspended him between heaven and earth.

At noon the sky darkened. It was the darkest moment in human history. God was making Jesus, the one who had no sin, to be sin for us (2 Corinthians 5:21).

At three in the afternoon, Jesus said in a loud voice, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” And then….

In victory, he cried out, “It is finished!” With that cry, he gave up his spirit.

This was no ordinary death suffered by no ordinary person. This was Jesus, the Lord and creator of all, offering himself as the perfect Lamb of God.

His achievement removed the barrier that stood between God and man. It shook the foundation of the world and it raised people to life. This was God saying to mankind to take note, to stop and consider the implications.

Christ Jesus, as the Lamb of God, took away the sin of the world (John 1:29). He took away your sin.

Live----Do you believe that Jesus’ death at Calvary was sufficient to take away your sin? Are you willing to rest in His finished work and trust that your sins have been forgiven once and for all? Are you willing to thank God that according to Acts 10:43, you have forgiveness of sins?

John 6:47 I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life!

1 John 5:13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

1 John 5:11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is IN his Son. Amen

Acts 10:43 challenges believers to break down walls of division and extend the invitation of grace to people of every nation, language, and culture. In doing so, they participate in God's redemptive mission, bearing witness to the reconciling power of Christ and ushering in a kingdom characterized by unity, love, and hope. As believers embrace this vision of inclusivity, may they be agents of God's grace and instruments of His peace, shining the light of Christ into the darkest corners of the world and bringing salvation to all who are in need.

Valentine's Day is named after St Valentine, a third-century Roman priest who went to great lengths to secretly marry the emperor's soldiers for whom marriage was forbidden.

But did you know Valentine's Day was appointed to supplant the pagan festival of Lupercalia?

February 14 was traditionally the Roman festival of Lupercalia, an important day to honour Juno, the Queen of Heaven and protector of women.

Juno was said to bestow her blessing on courtship rituals or marriages celebrated that day.

This is an accurate reference to Valentine's history. “Valentine's Day is a time to celebrate romance and love and kissy-face fealty. But the origins of this...

1 Corithians 13:13. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

We the young ministers, we believe and follow the three things God needs from us talk with, so i was going to explain our vision which is FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE, we have Faith in God as the Bible says that if you have faith in God you a saved creature, Hope is something we walk with as the young ministers, we have Hope in the Lord that He has good thought and plans for the young generation in Australia and the entire world then we have the greatest one which is Love not only love for the Lord but Love of others because the Bible said that Love your neighbors as i have loved you that’s why we are focusing on Love as the Lord loved us yet we were all sinners, and the Lord said if we don’t have love for others then you don’t have love on me your God.

We are here to see young people confessing and giving their lives to Christ, we are looking forward to go out and spread the gospel, the Lord chooses us since we were not yet born and called us His servant to go and preach and never feel shy talking His name. Come and we make disciples together because we were called to make disciples, please come and join our chapel (fellowship) every Wednesday night as we are asking the Lord to help us to walk in His own ways and show us the paths to take and make disciples.

Because God knows us individually, we experience that love in personal and unique ways—an unexpected answer to prayer, a quiet moment in a beautiful place, tender mercies throughout our day, and many other ways. God’s love is real and all around us if we’ll just pause to notice.
