Thanks to all who came along to 'Twilight: services and supports' yesterday. We learned a lot! To Michelle from COASIT - thank you for the heads-up on all things relevant.

Next week will focus on the emotional journey of ageing - because all of the changes that happen as we grow older really impact us and others.

We are recording all of the Twilight series and will let you know when the videos (and slides) are on our website.

Have you registered for 'Courageous Conversations – Friendship’ yet?

Our panel includes international author and broadcaster Sheridan Voysey, joining live from the UK, Brisbane community leader Kelly Sciacca, and our own Ann Edwards, Reverend at St Mark’s and speech pathologist. Attendees will hear perspectives from the panel, take part in a Q&A, and then contribute ideas for greater community connection.

Sheridan Voysey is the founder of Friendship Lab, the first charity dedicated to helping adult friendships thrive. He is a regular presenter on BBC Radio 2 and the author of nine books, including Resurrection Year and The Making of Us. Kelly Sciacca of Communify brings 30+ years of experience in community services across youth justice, mental health, and homelessness. St Mark’s Rev Ann Edwards contributes expertise in disability, inclusion, and community wellbeing. Read more in the Eventbrite link.

This FREE event is hosted by St Mark’s The Gap for all members of our community. Soup supper is provided, so RSVP is appreciated. Please register on Eventbrite, using the QR code or link.
