This term, Manel class is learning about “Imaginary Creatures”, exploring colours, body parts, numbers, and important Sinhala words.

Today, the children created their own playdough imaginary creatures and practised talking about their body parts and colours in Sinhala. We’ll continue using their creations next week to build their Sinhala vocabulary through fun, hands-on learning.

======== පුංචි ළමයි=========

නාමල් පංතියේ ළමයි මේ සතියේ ඉගෙන ගත්තා පුංචි ළමයින් ගැන කවි පංතියක්. ඊට පස්සේ පංතියේ ළමයි එකතු වෙලා එයාලගෙ අදහස් එකතු කරලා පුංචි ළමයි ගැන අලුත් කවියක් ලිව්වා. පද ගලපල එළිසමය රැකෙන විදිහට කවිය නිර්මාණය කරගන්න නාමල් පංතියේ පුංවි ළමයින්ට ලොකු උවමනාවක් තිබ්බා. එනිසා එයාලා නොයෙක් පද උත්සාහ කරලා කොහොමහරි අවසානයේදී මේ කවිය තමයි නිර්මාණය කර ගත්තේ. ඒ කවිය තමයි ඔය whiteboard එකේ තියෙන්නේ. පේන්න තියෙන්නේ. ඊට පස්සේ ඒ කවිය තාලයට ගායනා කරවන්න එයාලට උදව්වට ආවේ Nanditha ගුරුතුමිය​. එයාගෙ උදව්වෙන් නාමල් පංතියේ ළමයි ඒ කවිය තාලයට ගායනා කරා.

පුංවි ළමයි මල් වගෙයි
සමනළයින් වගෙ හැඩයි
කිසි දේකට බය නොවෙයි
පොඩි උනාට හිත ලොකුයි
