All praise due to Allah, AIDA Tasmania was honoured to be featured in the Brighton Council Community Newspaper in celebration of Eid Al-Adha and our ongoing commitment to supporting and contributing to communities across Tasmania.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Brighton Council and to all the communities who have welcomed, supported, and invited us to participate in their community initiatives. These opportunities allow us to come together, build meaningful connections, learn from one another, and contribute towards creating stronger and more harmonious communities.

We are truly grateful for the continued support and collaboration, and we look forward to strengthening these relationships and working together towards a more inclusive, supportive, and connected community for everyone.

Once again, thank you to Brighton Council and all those who continue to support and work alongside us. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to serve, contribute, and grow together as a community.

🇮🇩 HAPPY 81ST INDEPENDENCE DAY OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA 🇮🇩

Alhamdulillah, as part of the celebration of the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, AIDA Tasmania had the opportunity to take part in the celebrations together with the Indonesian community in Hobart.
This joyful and meaningful event was organised by ICT (Indonesian Community of Tasmania) and attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia and his wife, as well as several prominent figures in Hobart.

We are proud and grateful to have been part of this special occasion.

This year, Alhamdulillah, AIDA Tasmania contributed by presenting an ASAD Pencak Silat performance, preparing a Tumpeng made by the ladies of AIDA Tasmania, and contributing several dishes to add to the festive atmosphere. 🥋🍚🇮🇩

May this spirit of togetherness continue to grow and strengthen the bonds of friendship and community among all Indonesians, especially those in Hobart.
Let us continue to stay united, live in harmony, support one another, and maintain our sense of family, even while we are far from our homeland.

Alhamdulillah, all praise due to Allah,
AIDA Tasmania was able to participate and become guest performers at an Indonesian fundraising event at Bruny Island, raising funds to help build a bike track for children of Bruny Island.

We are truly grateful to be invited and participate at a wonderful event, proudly sharing our Indonesian culture to people of Bruny Island.

Special thanks to Bu Wina and her team for inviting us and we hope to participate in any future Indonesian events here in Tasmania ☺️😇

Assalamualaikum Wr Wb,

Alhamdulillah, with the mercy of Allah, AIDA Tasmania successfully held Asrama Generus during the Term 1 School Holidays 2026.

The program was filled with beneficial and uplifting activities—from reciting and understanding the Qur’an and Al-Hadith to applying the 29 noble values in daily life.

It was not only about gaining knowledge, but also about nurturing faith, building strong character, and fostering meaningful bonds among the students.

May Allah accept all our efforts and continue to bless us abundantly.
