Never been to a clothes swap before? This is what you can expect ⬆️⬆️⬆️

Our next one is happening this Saturday, 5-7PM ✨ Message someone from our YA team for the address and more details! Don’t forget that the guys also have Bball and Burgers happening at the same time (more info can be found in our last post).

Summer is almost here ☀️🏖🌺

Welcome in the season of sun, beach trips and holidays with us this Saturday afternoon.

For the gals, due to popular demand, we’ve got another clothes swap happening 👗👚👖 Got a heap of old clothes you’re not a fan of anymore? Bring them along and swap them out for some fresh new summer pieces. Hosted at the Kingi’s residence (contact or a YA steam member for the address).

For the guys, burgers and basketball 🏀 Meet at Redcliffe Basketball seaside court (next to the lagoon) for a game or two before heading up to the waterfront restaurant strip for burgers/dinner. Contact or any of the YA team for more details.

Both events will run from 5-7PM (🙌🙌 for twilight events in summer ✨). Get in contact with friends to invite them and carpool!

Oh. My. Goodness…

How good was Wednesday’s Revival Night!?!

A night filled with Laughter, Wisdom, The Holy Spirit and Ice-cream. Definitely couldn’t have been much better I’d say!

We’d like to give a HUGE thankyou to Pastor for joining us on Wednesday to share about his 20’s and what he’s learnt on his journey of life thus far. We were so blessed by your wisdom and encouragement and we’re so grateful for your presence that night!

Also, a big thankyou to those who joined us on Wednesday, we can’t wait to see you again soon :))

1 John 4:7-11 (NIV)
7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

God’s own magnificent act of giving is what makes us able to give, ourselves. He begins and ends it, and that’s why it’s not really a sacrifice, but freedom, to give and live a life of 'Love in Action'.

To live a life of love in Action is ultimately a response. A response to a revelation of how much God has already given, and continues to give us. A response of love that would be evidence to the world that we belong to God and that shining the light of Christ into the world is to do good works.

So, to live out a life of love in action, is to keep discovering just how much God has given to us, and how beautiful and good that is, allowing our giving to continually be a response.

If you’re looking for a sign to come along to Bible Studies next week, this is it! 😜

Ruby here and these are my cheesy before and after photos from Bible Study last week ⚡️ I left feeling so boosted and nourished in my heart and spirit. It was just so good to pick apart scripture together and discover revelation after revelation about the heart of God. So much so, I felt to put this extra call out to…
👉 anyone who feels their faith and connection with God needs sharpening
👉anyone who feels overwhelmed when it comes to reading the Bible
👉 anyone who doesn’t feel like they’re growing deeper spiritually
👉 anyone who knows they need to surround themselves with more Christian friends…
If this resonates with you, simply make the effort! Make time for Bible Studies, go to the Masterclass this week, commit to going to Sunday services more, invest in the friendships that make you a better person ✨As they say, “if you’ve always do, what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten”

Register via our church website). And for all the guys out there who have been asking about Bible studies - one for you is in the works! I’ve learnt (and still learning) to not miss out on knowing Jesus at a greater level just because I simply didn’t access the incredible resources abundantly on offer for us 🧡

There’s no Revival Night this month as instead we’re going to be focussing on rallying together for Beyond Serve Day 🙌 This day is a phenomenal opportunity to bless and meet the needs of our community in practical ways 🫶🏽

Hey YA ladies! We’ve got Mel Stanton’s Bible Study group kicking off this upcoming Monday night (10th October) ⚡️⚡️⚡️ We’re SO excited to hangout + delve into the Word together. This group will be running fortnightly on a Monday until the end of November (4 nights total).
