Pastors from across South New South Wales gathered in Jindabyne for two days of Ministers Meetings focused on equipping and empowering our leaders in vision, support, influence, discipleship, and growing the mission. It was a valuable time of learning, collaboration, and encouragement, strengthened by hearing how God has been leading in the lives and ministries of our pastors.

United in purpose and renewed in calling, we leave with a clear conviction: the mission is too important to stand still. By God’s grace, we are committed to making disciples, multiplying leaders, and advancing His kingdom with faith, courage, and urgency across South New South Wales.

We are excited to welcome our newest team member to the office. The fantastic Sophie Bullock joins the team with a wealth of knowledge, experience and passion for serving God. Sophie has stepped into the roles of Pathfinders, Adventurers and Adventist Community Services. Sophie has been a long time member of Canberra National Church, served as a Youth Leader, Elder and has led the local Pathfinder club for 9 strong years. Sophie is always the first to put up her hand and serve with a smile, always eager to help in anyway that she can. She loves getting involved with anything youth ministry related, and knows how to feed the masses with quality food! Sophie has been working as an Exercise Physiologist and continues to work in that space part time, while we get the other share of her attention. Her impact is being felt already! Thank you Sophie Bullock!

It is with great joy that we welcome Dr Bree Hills as the new SNSW Education Director.

We give heartfelt thanks to Chris Chapman for his outstanding service over the past three years. Chris has been a true blessing to our schools and has left the Education portfolio in excellent shape. As he and his family relocate to the Gold Coast, we wish them every blessing in this next chapter.

Bree is one of our own. For the past 14 years, she has served with distinction as Principal of Canberra Christian School, where she has led with vision and care. Her deep passion for the educational mission of our schools, combined with her exceptional skills as an educator and her infectious positive attitude, make her ideally suited for this role. We are confident she will provide outstanding support to our principals, teachers, and students in the years ahead.

Please keep Chris, Bree, and all our schools in your prayers as Bree steps into this important position over the coming months.

SNSW Big Camp 2026 was truly a blessed and powerful time—gathering with families and friends from across our conference, united in worship and fellowship. There was something special about lifting up the name of Jesus together under the stars of Jindabyne at the Adventist Alpine Village.

We are so grateful for each of our speakers—Jack Ryder, Alan & Christina Oliva, Sheridan Godfrey, David Leo, Branden & Levi—thank you for pouring into our young people, faithfully sharing Jesus, and being vessels of His love throughout the camp.

A heartfelt thank you as well to Pr Nemaia Faletogo and Pr Ni**od Maua for travelling all the way from Washington and Canada. Your commitment to preach the Gospel, equip others, and inspire a movement to “Man-Go” 🥭 and make disciples has left a lasting impact.

We speak blessings over you both and your families as you return home. May God continue to use you mightily for His kingdom.

What a joy it is to be part of what God is doing—He is moving, and we give Him all the glory.

A huge thank you to our incredible team of staff and speakers who created such a powerful space for God to move among His people. We’re praying that as everyone enjoys being home again, that the fire and passion from camp continues to burn brightly in your hearts.

Please join us in praying for two of our members who sustained injuries during the wild weather. We are so grateful to God that both are home, and that things weren’t more serious. He truly protected His people through those intense 12 hours of wind.

We also want to thank every staff member and volunteer who worked tirelessly — often selflessly — to evacuate campers and clean up the debris. Your efforts were outstanding.

Please keep Adventist Alpine Village in your prayers as the team continues the clean-up and prep for Sydney to enjoy their camp. Our dedicated staff there are working hard with such humble hearts.

Finally, a big shout-out to our members who showed such beautiful Christian character over the last 24 hours of camp — no complaining, just love, courage, and putting others first. The way you supported and helped one another was genuinely one of the highlights of the whole camp.

God is good. 🙏
