วันที่ ๕ ธันวาคม ของทุกปี เป็นวันคล้ายวันพระบรมราชสมภพพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร

และเป็นที่รู้กันว่า วันนี้คือ "วันพ่อแห่งชาติ" ของพวกเราชาวไทย

ข้าพระพุทธเจ้าขอเป็นตัวแทน คณะครูอาสา นักเรียน และผู้ปกครอง Thai Language Box Hill Temple ขอน้อมรำลึกพระมหากรุณาธิคุณของพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร ที่ทรงมีต่อพสกนิกรชาวไท นานัปการ พวกเราต่างซาบซึ้งและปลาบปลื้มในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณอย่างมิรู้ลืม

พระองค์ทรงเป็น "พ่อ" ตัวอย่างของปวงชนชาวไทยที่เปี่ยมล้นด้วยพระเมตตากรุณา ทรงห่วงใยอย่างหาที่เปรียบมิได้
