Today in church we will be praying for those affected by the devastating landslide and floods in Nepal and Tibet this week 😢 🙏🏼
- Pray that people will get immediate relief, place for shelter, prompt medical treatments for those who are injured. This is hard because of bridges destroyed.
- Pray that God would save the lives of survivors who are still trapped or missing, and would protect children, the elderly and people with disabilities.
- Pray for rescue teams, local authorities and humanitarian workers, that God would sustain them and give them wisdom and skill as they seek to help people.
- Pray for families who have lost their loved ones and or lost their homes and livelihoods, that God would give them comfort and relief. Pray that he would also move in them to seek the true comfort and hope that only comes through Jesus.
- Pray for local churches in Nepal, that they will be able to extend their love for their neighbours in this difficult time, and that through their actions and words others might ask the reason for the hope they have.

Sovereign Lord and heavenly Father, in whose hands are life and death, Our hearts ache for the families waiting for news of loved ones caught in the Nepal flash floods.
Preserve life, O Lord. May many of the missing be found safe and returned to their homes. Grant strength, endurance and skill to emergency workers and search teams. May they reach many who are still alive.
