Last Wednesday at prayer meeting, we spent time studying the Parable of the Ten Virgins from Matthew 25 as part of our monthly theme, The Second Coming.

We're reminded that readiness for Jesus’ return is not about knowing when He will come, but about maintaining a daily relationship with Him. The wise virgins were prepared because they kept their lamps filled with oil, symbolising the presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives. We were encouraged to remain spiritually awake, faithful, and ready, living each day with expectancy and hope.

May we continue to prepare our hearts, strengthen our faith, and look forward to the glorious return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

A few memories from Big Camp in April! Grateful for the worship, fellowship, and opportunity to serve. Our church was also privileged to provide security for the campgrounds, helping create a safe environment for everyone to enjoy.

It is through Jesus that we can experience true rest!
Tonight, a few of our young people shared what they took away from Keanu’s message, a reminder that in the middle of life’s busyness, Jesus invites us to pause, trust, and rest in Him.

Pierre grew up in the SDA church and faithfully served in music, hospitality, Pathfinders, Sabbath School and more. While he loved serving, over time it began to feel more like obligation than joy, and he slowly began to lose interest.

After attending a summer camp with a friend, Pierre was deeply moved by an appeal from the pastor and surrendered his life fully to Jesus. Since then, through Bible studies and another God moment at this years Converge and more recently a Catalyst student at Avondale University, and experiencing God’s presence at Big Camp in South Australia, he has felt God continually leading him.

Tonight at Vespers, Pierre shared his journey toward re-baptism in the near future choosing to trust God’s timing. Such an encouraging testimony. God has great things ahead for you, Pierre.

🌸 Mother’s Day Sabbath Lunch 🌸

After the service, we’ll be sharing a beautiful lunch filled with fellowship, gratitude, and joy. It’s a special time to connect, reflect, and say thank you for the love, strength, and care these women bring into our lives every day.

✨ Everyone is welcome, please bring a plate to share if you’re able, and come with a thankful heart.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! 💐

David grew up in a loving home… until life took a turn.
After his family broke apart, he left home at just 15. What followed were years of couch surfing, nights on the streets, and a life caught up in using and distributing drugs.

Yet even in those darkest places, he knew deep down, God had never left him.

Last year, David was invited to a baptism program. Watching someone he once used drugs with make the decision to follow Jesus stirred something in him. He asked his friend, “Why now? Why have you decided to give your life to Jesus?”

The answer was simple, but powerful:
“Because He died for me.”

Those words pierced David’s heart.

From that moment, something began to shift. He started Bible studies and eventually stepped into Catalyst. Even while still wrestling with old ways and desires, God was already at work in him.

David shares that these past few months can only be explained by God’s grace and mercy over his life. What the world might call coincidence, he knows is divine intervention.

The Bible reminds us in Psalm 36:1 that sin can harden the hearts of people, blinding them so they cannot turn back to God. But David’s story is a living reminder that no heart is beyond reach when God is calling.

Please keep our brother David in your thoughts and prayers as he continues this journey. God is not finished with him yet, and his testimony is only just beginning. 🙏
