WYD27 Parramatta Songwriting Competition - Wed 16th 🎶🎹🎤

Calling all songwriters aged 15–35! Enter the official Diocese of Parramatta Songwriting Competition and use your creativity to bring the World Youth Day 2027 theme, “Take courage, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33), to life through an original song for our Parramatta pilgrimage to Seoul! Deanery Gathering - Thurs 17th 🙏🏼🎉

Current & emerging leaders in youth ministry across the Hills and Parramatta Deaneries are welcomed to a night of community, prayer and formation.

Centred on the theme “We are an Easter people and Alleluia is our song,” we will explore the hope at the heart of our faith and what it means to carry that hope in our everyday lives. For further details and to register click the link in our bio.

All aspiring pilgrims aged 18–35, as well as small group leaders aged 25 and over, are warmly invited to apply to join our pilgrimage to the next World Youth Day in Seoul, South Korea.

Introducing At the Well Gathering – Half Day Retreat! ✨🌸💛

Centred on the theme “We are an Easter people and Alleluia is our song,” we will explore the hope at the heart of our faith and what it means to carry that hope in our everyday lives.

Highlights of the day include Mass, Brunch and a Creative Workshop lead by special guest (and co-host of the ATW Podcast) Joy Adan!

July is here! We can’t believe we’re already halfway through the year. There’s so much to be grateful for as we reflect on all that God has done so far.

Here’s a look at what’s ahead this month…

This weekend, we’ll embark on our annual LIFTED Retreat with 60 young adults at the Benedict XVI Retreat Centre, reflecting on the theme of Abundance.

On 15 July, we’ll be hosting a retreat day for 16–17-year-olds at St Paul’s, Winston Hills. Registrations are now open at parracatholic.org

Later this month, we’re looking forward to reuniting with the pilgrims from last year’s Jubilee of Youth Pilgrimage and reconnecting as we continue the journey together.

As we look ahead to the second half of the year, we’re filled with hope and excitement for all that’s to come. Please keep our team and the young people of our Diocese in your prayers as we continue walking together in faith. 🙏✝

See what's happening in June for CYP ✨

This Thursday 4th we will celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi with a Eucharistic Procession from Our Lady Of Lebanon Co-Cathedral, Harris Park to St Patrick's Cathedral, Parramatta.

In two weeks, we will gather student leaders from across our Diocese for LIFTED Breakfast with the Bishop.

Later in the month we will be meeting with leaders within the Hawkesbury, Nepean, and Mountains Deaneries for further formation and connection.

As always, we will continue to connect locally with you - our parish youth and young adult leaders through workshops and catch up's. 😊
