What a privilege to celebrate the dads and men of our church family on Father’s Day.

We heard powerfully from Jay Villavon and Ben Hura about their journey through Fighting Shadows, choosing vulnerability, courage and allowing God to meet them in the hidden places. Out of respect for their stories and the sacredness of what was shared, that conversation is staying in the room.

But here’s a small snippet from Charlie’s message: our world craves strong, tender, loving fathers, ultimately reflecting the heart of God our Father.

FATHER’S DAY AT OAK CITY 🥓🍳

This Sunday we’re celebrating the dads! The biological dads, spiritual dads, and father figures who make our lives richer and advance the Kingdom in ways both seen and unseen.

We’ll have bacon and egg rolls, some mid service fun, gifts, and a special panel as we honour and celebrate the men who father, lead, encourage and invest in others.
Bring Dad, bring the family, and come hungry. We’d love to celebrate Father’s Day together! ❤️

FRIDAY NIGHT 🔥

We loved gathering on Friday night with youth ministries from across our region. There is something powerful about seeing young people worshipping Jesus together, building friendships and going after God. God is moving amongst the next generation, and we want to keep fanning it into flame!

With Youth Camp just around the corner these school holidays, now is a great time to get connected. Know a young person who would love to join us on a Friday night or come along to Youth Camp?

Is your life worth imitating?

As we wrapped our Timothy series on Sunday, Charlie challenged us to consider not only what we believe, but the kind of life we are actually inviting others into. Are we moving towards the wholeness and expansive life found in Jesus, carrying a hope and presence that causes others to see that there is something different about us?

Like Paul and Timothy, we want to be a people who run the race well, contend for faithfulness, and allow Christ to be formed in us for the sake of those coming behind us.

Sunday is almost here, and we'd love to see you! 🙌

Charlie will be wrapping up our series on the life and character of Timothy, as we reflect on what it means to live with courage, faithfulness, and wholehearted devotion to Jesus.

SUNDAY MOMENTS 🤍

How great was Sunday! From worship, to being together, to lingering in God’s presence and being shaped by the preached Word, there was a real sense of God meeting us as a church family.

God is fanning into flame what He has placed within us and awakening our hearts to more of Him. We’re expectant for all He is doing in this season. 🔥

A church where people are discipled, encouraged, empowered, and sent into all that God has for them.
