THE FEAST DAY OF ALL SAINTS
Sunday, 7th June 2026 • 7:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Matins and Divine Liturgy

This Sunday, the Orthodox Church commemorates the Sunday of All Saints, honouring all the Saints known and revealed to us by God, as well as those whose holiness remains known only to Him.

On this special day, we give thanks for their witness of faith and ask for their prayers and intercessions for us all.

We warmly invite you to join us for the Divine Liturgy as we celebrate this important feast of our Orthodox faith. We look forward to seeing you there!

This Sunday, on the great Feast of the Sunday of All Saints, our Philoptochos will be selling delicious homemade Flaounes following the Divine Liturgy.

Prepared with love and care, these traditional Cypriot pastries are a wonderful way to support the work of our Philoptochos, with all proceeds going to the maintenance of our church.

We invite everyone to stay after the service, enjoy some fellowship, and take home a freshly made flaouna.

For those interested, the Holy Monastery of St George Yellow Rock - NSW, will be hosting a fundraising afternoon tea on Sunday, 7 June at 3:00pm. All proceeds will go towards supporting the mission of Bukoba and Western Tanzania, Africa.

His Grace Bishop Chrysostomos of Bukoba and Western Tanzania will also be present at the event.

Sunday, 31 May 2026 • 7:30 - 11:15 a.m.

Join us at Sts. Paraskevi and Barbara Greek Orthodox Church - Blacktown for the joyous Feast of Holy Pentecost. The Matins and Divine Liturgy will be followed by the Great Vespers for the Feast Day of the Holy Spirit.

“Let us celebrate the feast of Pentecost and the coming of the Spirit, the appointed day of promise, and the fulfillment of hope.” - St. Gregory the Theologian

The Feast of Holy Pentecost is celebrated each year on the fiftieth day after the Great and Holy Feast of Pascha and ten days after the Ascension of Christ. Pentecost commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and marks the beginning of the Church’s mission in the world.

On this sacred day, we celebrate not only the birth of the Church, but the fullness of God’s revelation — the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Through the Holy Spirit, the Apostles preached, the people believed, and the Church was born in fire and truth.

Following the Divine Liturgy, our Philoptochos will be selling traditional homemade sweets and tiropites, with all proceeds going towards supporting our Church. We encourage everyone to stay for fellowship and support their wonderful efforts.
