Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

احسبوه كل فرح يا إخوتي حينما تقعون في تجارب متنوعة،
عالمين أن امتحان إيمانكم ينشئ صبرا.
وأما الصبر فليكن له عمل تام، لكي تكونوا تامين وكاملين غير ناقصين في شيء.
وإنما إن كان أحدكم تعوزه حكمة، فليطلب من الله الذي يعطي الجميع بسخاء ولا يعير، فسيعطى له.

So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. Now it happened, the day after, that Jesus went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd. And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.” Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.

وفي اليوم التالي ذهب يسوع إلى مدينة تدعى نايين، وذهب معه كثيرون من تلاميذه وجمع كثير.
فلما اقترب إلى باب المدينة، إذا ميت محمول، ابن وحيد لأمه، وهي أرملة ومعها جمع كثير من المدينة.

Jesus said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”
But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”
For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken; and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.”

قال يسوع لسمعان: «ابعد إلى العمق وألقوا شباككم للصيد».
فأجاب سمعان وقال له: «يا معلم، قد تعبنا الليل كله ولم نأخذ شيئا. ولكن على كلمتك ألقي الشبكة».
ولما فعلوا ذلك أمسكوا سمكا كثيرا جدا، فصارت شبكتهم تتخرق.
فأشاروا إلى شركائهم الذين في السفينة الأخرى أن يأتوا ويساعدوهم. فأتوا وملأوا السفينتين حتى أخذتا في الغرق.
فلما رأى سمعان بطرس ذلك خر عند ركبتي يسوع قائلا: «اخرج من سفينتي يا رب، لأني رجل خاطئ!».
إذ اعترته وجميع الذين معه دهشة على صيد السمك الذي أخذوه.
وكذلك أيضا يعقوب ويوحنا ابنا زبدي اللذان كانا شريكي سمعان. فقال يسوع لسمعان: «لا تخف! من الآن تكون تصطاد الناس!»

When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you... arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, We never saw anything like this!

“Do you see this woman?
I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”

ثم التفت يسوع إلى المرأة وقال لسمعان:
«أتنظر هذه المرأة؟ إني دخلت بيتك، وماء لأجل رجلي لم تعط. وأما هي فقد غسلت رجلي بالدموع ومسحتهما بشعر رأسها.
قبلة لم تقبلني، وأما هي فمنذ دخلت لم تكف عن تقبيل رجلي.
بزيت لم تدهن رأسي، وأما هي فقد دهنت بالطيب رجلي.
من أجل ذلك أقول لك: قد غفرت خطاياها الكثيرة، لأنها أحبت كثيرا. والذي يغفر له قليل يحب قليلا».

So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, “He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.”

Jesus said: Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and will deceive many. But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows…

When you see these things happening, know that it is near, at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.

قال يسوع: انظروا! لا يضلكم أحد.

For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant;
