Every person living with dementia is surrounded by family, friends, neighbours, and carers who walk beside them, with understanding and support.
This Dementia Action Week (16 – 22 September), the theme ‘Nobody Can Do It Alone’ shines a light on the importance of these support networks.
As part of our ongoing commitment to build a community where people living with dementia are supported, we’re partnering with other councils to bring you the Dementia Action Week Roadshow.
The roadshow includes free events with expert speakers, practical resources, and shared lived experiences. Hear from leading health experts on slowing the onset and progress of dementia with lifestyle interventions
When: 2pm - 4pm, Wednesday 24 September

The Whitehorse Interfaith Network (WIN), supported by Council, brings people of different faiths and cultures together, fostering connection, mutual respect and a sense of belonging.
Whitehorse is proud to celebrate our multicultural, multi-faith and inclusive community, and this year WIN is marking its 20th anniversary with a short film sharing personal stories from local residents about what faith, culture and belonging mean to them.
