📝The Australian Census will be held on Tuesday 11 August 2026.

Question 24 asks about each person’s religion. This question is optional. As Lutheran is not included among the listed denominations, members who choose to answer the question are encouraged to enter 'Lutheran' in the 'Other—please specify' box. Doing so will help ensure that Lutherans are accurately represented in the Census. ✝

The census helps the government and many other organisations in Australia better understand who Australia is.....
One of the questions on the census is an optional question What is a person's religion?
If you are a Lutheran Christian...eg. you identify as a Lutheran, or you attend a Lutheran congregation.
you are encouraged to write in the other box Lutheran or Lutheran Christian......
