Cleaning job available.

The Valleys Region Parishes are seeking a Casual Presbytery Cleaner to perform house cleaning for approximately two hours a fortnight. The role of the Presbytery Cleaner is to carry out the routine cleaning of the presbytery to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained.

Congratulations to all who received the Sacraments. Thank you to all those who helped prepare them and those who helped make today such beautiful celebrations, both in Monto and Biloela. And, thank you Bishop Danny.

In Loving Memory of Sr Rita Connor RSM
1938-2026
Sr Rita Connor lovingly served across our diocese in various ministries, especially education.
In 1991, she began her ministry in the Central West, especially around Barcaldine.
With good reason she was declared 2018 Australian of the Year ‘Local Hero’ of the Barcaldine community. Only ill health in 2021 could take her away from the people and ministry she loved. She then retired to The Range Village in Rockhampton.
Her funeral will be celebrated at 10 am, Thursday 30th July at Our Lady of Counsel Chapel (The Range Chapel), Agnes Street. Livestream details are available on the Tucker & Nankivell website.
May she enter in the fullness of the life of God, who she served so faithfully here on earth.
