HE FELT SOMETHING LIKE ELECTRICITY MOVE THROUGH HIS BODY. THEN EVERYTHING CHANGED.

A choir member found him on the floor of his own law office, weeping so hard he couldn't speak.

"Mr. Finney, what ails you?" the man asked. Finney couldn't answer. He wasn't in pain. He was somewhere else entirely.

Charles Grandison Finney, born in 1792, the youngest of fifteen children on a New York farm, had built a respectable life as a lawyer by the age of 29. He wasn't a religious man by his own admission, more interested in legal arguments than spiritual ones. But something had been building in him for weeks, an unresolved question about his own soul that he could no longer ignore.

On October 10, 1821, he walked into the woods near his home in Adams, New York, determined to settle it once and for all. "I will give my heart to God," he told himself, "or I never will come down from there."

He returned that evening to his law office. The staff had spent the day moving furniture between rooms; by the time he was alone, the fire he'd built was nearly burned out. As he turned to sit back down beside it, something happened that he would spend the rest of his life trying to describe.

In his own words, written years later in his memoirs: "I received a mighty baptism of the Holy Ghost. Without any expectation of it, without ever having the thought in my mind that there was any such thing for me... the Holy Spirit descended upon me in a manner that seemed to go through me, body and soul. I could feel the impression, like a wave of electricity, going through and through me. Indeed it seemed to come in waves and waves of liquid love."

The waves didn't stop quickly. Finney described them washing over him again and again, so overwhelming that at one point he cried out, "I shall die if these waves continue to pass over me." And yet, he wrote, he felt no fear of death at all. He wept, he said, until he was practically bellowing from the sheer force of what he was experiencing.

It was late into the evening before a member of his church choir found him still in that state, undone, unable to answer a simple question about what was wrong.

Finney never returned to the practice of law. He gave his life entirely to ministry from that point forward, going on to become one of the most influential revivalists in American history. Historians estimate he personally led over one million people to Christian conversion over the course of his ministry, a scale almost unmatched in American religious history. He later helped shape entire theological movements around personal revival and what he called being "filled with the Holy Spirit," ideas that continue to influence Christian teaching on spiritual renewal to this day.

I know this to be true from the Word and also my own experience. I was saved at six years old and received the Holy Spirit, but I did not receive His baptism until my mid twenties after becoming hungry for more of Him and asking.

The New Testament teaches two related but distinct works of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer:
1 The Holy Spirit comes to live in us when we believe in Christ (salvation).
2 The Holy Spirit comes upon us in power for ministry (the baptism of the Holy Spirit).

These are not competing doctrines—they complement one another.
1. Every believer receives the Holy Spirit at salvation.

When you trust in Jesus, the Holy Spirit immediately comes to dwell within you.
• Romans 8:9 — "If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him."
• Ephesians 1:13 — "Having believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise."

Without the indwelling Holy Spirit, you are not a Christian. The Spirit regenerates you, makes you a new creation, and seals you as God's child. This happens the moment you believe.

2. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is about empowerment, not salvation.

After Jesus rose from the dead, He appeared to His disciples and: "...He breathed on them and said to them, 'Receive the Holy Spirit.'" (John 20:22)

Yet these same disciples were later told:
"Stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high." (Luke 24:49)

And:
"You will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now... you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you." (Acts 1:5, 8)

If receiving the Holy Spirit and being baptized in the Holy Spirit were always the exact same experience, there would have been nothing left for these disciples to wait for. Instead, Jesus distinguished between the Spirit's indwelling presence and the Spirit's empowering work.

3. The purpose is different.

The Holy Spirit within us:
• Gives us new birth.
• Makes us children of God.
• Produces the fruit of the Spirit.
• Assures us of salvation.

The Holy Spirit upon us:
• Empowers us to witness.
• Gives boldness.
• Distributes spiritual gifts.
• Enables effective ministry.

Jesus didn't tell the disciples to wait because they weren't saved. He told them to wait because they had not yet been clothed with power.

4. In Acts 8, the Samaritans had:
• believed the gospel,
• been baptized in water in the name of Jesus,
yet Peter and John came because: "...the Holy Spirit had not yet fallen upon any of them." (Acts 8:16)

They then laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit in a way that was visibly evident (Acts 8:17–18). These passages show that, in Acts, there are instances where believing and the Spirit's empowering are distinguished.

5. It isn't just a one-time experience.
Even after Pentecost, the disciples were filled again.

"And when they had prayed... they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness." (Acts 4:31)

These were many of the same believers who had already been filled in Acts 2. Paul also commands believers: "Be filled with the Spirit." (Ephesians 5:18) The Greek verb carries the idea of continually being filled. God's empowering isn't meant to be a one-time event but an ongoing reality.

6. Jesus encouraged believers to ask.
Jesus said: "How much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" (Luke 11:13)

This isn't about asking to become saved over and over. It's an invitation for God's children to seek the fullness of the Spirit's work in their lives.

Think of it this way:
• At salvation, the Holy Spirit comes to live in you so you belong to Christ.
• In the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit comes upon you in power so you can effectively serve Christ.

One gives you life.
The other gives you power.

Both are gifts of God's grace, and both are found in the New Testament. The indwelling Spirit makes us God's children; the baptism and ongoing fillings of the Holy Spirit equip us to boldly carry out the mission Jesus gave His Church.

WHICH GOD IS TRUE? HERE IS THE ANSWER SO CLEAR THAT EVEN THOSE WHO MOCK IT CANNOT ESCAPE IT

We see this comment all the time; it keeps showing up like a broken record. Atheists come into the comment section here, and list a thousand so-called gods: Zeus. Odin. Ra. Baal. Shiva. Molech. Mithras. "Which one is real"?, they ask. As if they have the perfect trap of a question.

They throw names around as if quantity somehow replaces truth. They want to smear the God of the Bible by mixing Him in with man made idols. But here is the truth that refuses to be silenced. Not one of those pagan gods ever stepped into human history. Not one ever wrote real prophecy that came true. Not one ever produced a world changing movement that transformed hearts and nations. Not one ever offered redemption for sin. They have legends. They have statues. They have myths. They have stories. But none of them walked into time and space to reveal Himself.
The God of the Bible did. And He did it through Jesus Christ. Jesus did not point to another deity. Jesus declared that He Himself IS the Hebrew God in the flesh. The Great I AM who spoke to Moses. The Creator who spoke the universe into existence. The One who holds all things together and in whom all things consist. And to prove that His words were not empty, He came in public. He taught in public. He performed miracles in public. He died in public. And He rose again in public before hundreds of eyewitnesses who never recanted even under torture and death. No secret ceremony. No mystical cave. No private whisper. No rumor. No hallucination. Hundreds saw the resurrected Christ. They watched Him ascend. That is why the entire Roman world was shaken. That is why the disciples, who were once terrified fishermen, became bold, unstoppable messengers of the Gospel.
Every other god is a fading carving or an idol cast from the dirt. They cannot speak. They cannot act. They cannot save. Their influence died with the civilizations that created them. But Jesus Christ lives. His tomb is empty. His message endures. His Gospel still transforms hearts, families, and nations. That is why we point to Him every day. That is why He is not one god among many. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. The only Living God. The only Savior. The only One who proved Himself before the eyes of history. And that is why the comment has been answered. Not with opinion. Not with myth. But with the undeniable reality of the resurrected King. End of story.

RECEIVING THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT~🔥🔥🔥
Acts 2:4
Dispelling The Lies/Deliverance Prayer/Prayer To Receive/

Are you wanting to pray in tongues and you keep asking and asking and nothing is happening? Are you frustrated? Well guess what? I was too for a bit! Let me speak to that situation for a moment. I will do a deeper teaching on the Holy Spirit later but right now there’s too many people that are struggling with simply “receiving” the Holy Spirit and I just want to do a quick teaching on things that could be hindering you and give you a step by step prayer to receive it.
There’s only two requirements of receiving the baptism. One is that you must have accepted Yeshua as your savior and enter into the kingdom. The other is that you have to want MORE of him. That’s it! Holy Spirit is very easy to access and he doesn’t play hide and seek from us, although we might feel like it at times. In my personal experience I’ve witnessed several reasons why a person doesn’t receive their prayer language. With the leading of the Holy Spirit, let’s talk about them now.
8 BLOCKS FROM RECEIVING THE BAPTISM
1- BELIEVING A LIE / LACK OF UNDERSTANDING ~ Personally, I thought when you received the baptism of the Holy Spirit that you just sit there and get overtaken and you start babbling 100 miles an hour, like I’d seen in videos. Well, that’s not always how it happens. So LOOSE THAT LIE from your soul now. PRAY~ Lord, I repent for believing that lie and I loose it from my soul, in Yeshua’s name.
2- NOT BELIEVING THE WORD / YHWH~ Sometimes we aren’t believing what the word says. (Please read these few verses)
Luke 11:9-13- “So I say to you, ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives and he who seeks finds and to him who knocks it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” That verse is even talking about the Holy Spirit. So this means Yahweh isn’t holding out on us when we ask. It’s a done deal! That means there’s some issues receiving on our part. Also, this verse means when we ask something from Yahweh, he gives us what we ask for and doesn’t give us something else. So please don’t believe the lie that you will receive a demonic tongue. The only way to receive a demonic tongue is to ask for one.
3- NOT PRACTICING / DOING OUR PART~
Praying in tongues is like starting a car engine. You have to physically sit in the car and turn the key or press the button. Then you have to start driving before Holy Spirit takes over. So there’s certain steps you must take in faith and then he jumps in. You must open your mouth and speak. You must also practice over and over and do it consistently to really let go and let him flow. You are fighting against the flesh and you have to PUSH THROUGH~~~> 🔥🔥🔥. I have a tip that can really help you and it’s helped many others. Listen to someone praying in tongues and pray along with them. Why? Because when you’re first starting out, it’s really easy to get in your head and before you know it, your mouth closes. In fact, I still struggle with that. It’s just the flesh we’re fighting against. I listen to a particular video while I pray in tongues and I’ll put the link below to help you. PLEASE DON’T SKIP THIS STEP, because it’s the key to actually pushing through to pray in tongues. If you skip it, it could greatly effect your outcome. I listen to Apostle Jennifer LeClaire praying in tongues for one hour all the time. You don’t have to listen to her, but she’s just who I recommend and use. You can use whoever you want, BUT, be sure it’s someone you trust has a clean anointing and tongues!! I put this video on in the mornings when I first get up and I pray along with it the whole time I’m getting ready and taking a shower and doing hair and make up. By the time the videos over, I know I’ve done a whole hour. Then later in the day, I put it back on. If you have to stop pause your video to keep your place. That’s how you can keep up with how much you’re praying in tongues. That’s a “Ruthie Tip” from me to you. Moving on~~~> 🤣
4- FEAR~
You might struggle with some fear also. Most people do and that’s common, but it must be surrendered. The word says in 2 Tim 1:7 that the Lord does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. PRAY~ Lord, I repent for any and all fear and I loose it from my soul in Yeshua’s name.
5- DOUBT / UNBELIEF~
Doubting shuts down the Holy Spirit immediately. When we doubt the Lord, it’s like being on a phone call and there’s a phone cord connected between your phone and the Holy Spirit. The moment you start doubting, scissors come and cut the cord of communication, IMMEDIATELY! Psalm 50:15 says, “You can let doubt, fear and worry overtake you or you can call upon the Lord. God has promised that if you call upon Him, He will deliver you”. The word also says in Mark 9:24- Lord help my unbelief!
PRAY~ Lord, I repent for all doubt and unbelief and I loose it from my soul. Lord, help my unbelief!
6- PRIDE~
Pride has many faces or facets that I was unaware of. It goes deep and many things are pride that we don’t think is. You might not want to look silly in front of another person and babble like a baby? If so, that’s PRIDE and it must be surrendered. Yes, it does sound a little like baby talk at first, but that’s a necessary step to take to get better.
PRAY~ Lord, I repent for any pride, and I lay it at the foot of the cross. I loose it from my soul now, in Yeshua’s name.
7- CONTROL~
This was one of my issues. Being a control freak the majority of my life made it very hard to let go and do things that were very unnatural to me. This could be your issue so let’s go ahead and repent for control and move on, ok? PRAY~ Lord, I repent for all control and I loose it from my soul now, in Yeshua’s name.
8~ The Enemy “Might” Be Hindering It!
We already know he hinders a lot of things but it never occurred to me that in the spirit realm he can hinder this also, but he CAN and he HAS, with many people I have seen. He can hinder through lies we are believing yes, but I’m speaking of something more specific. As a SEER I see what’s holding people back sometimes because Holy Spirit shows me. The enemy will put gags and devices on peoples mouths in the spirit to “hinder” them receiving the baptism. I’ve seen metal helmets on people that are hindering it and I’ve also seen witches, , warlocks and sorcerers present and standing around people in the spirit when I was trying to pray for them to receive the baptism. They were there to hinder it and had placed something around the persons head or in or over their mouth. The first time I saw this on a woman, I commanded an angel to remove it and she immediately GUSHED her tongue language. Satan is TERRIFIED of Yahweh’s children receiving their tongue languages! Because we then become unstoppable, hear more clearly and can resist sin and live more holy lives. So most people don’t think to ask Holy Spirit if there’s something over their mouths in the spirit that’s hindering them. That’s ok though because, YOU KNOW NOW! I’ll put a prayer to receive below and break off anything hindering you as well.
As a scribe when start writing the Holy Spirit talks more and more. He gave me more examples as I wrote this. He also reminded me that there were 8 reasons and the number 8 means NEW BEGINNINGS! Hallelujah!! So get ready to receive!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Get away from distractions before praying this prayer.
PRAYER TO RECEIVE~
(Shift The Atmosphere FIRST)
I invite the Host Of Heaven and The Holy Spirit to invade this place and evict EVERYTHING of the enemy and I release the BREATH OF GOD (BLOW OUT) and the blood of Yeshua here. (BREATH = RUACH HAKODESH)
Father, I affirm I am a believer in Yeshua and I belong to you. You know my heart Lord, and that I want the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of praying in tongues. I want more of you!
I DECREE Mark 16:17~These signs will accompany those who believe, In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues.
I DECREE Acts 2:4- All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
I DECREE Luke 11:9- Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.
Father, I ask right now for angels to come and remove ANYTHING from the enemy hindering me speaking in tongues. I command every gag, device and binding removed, in every age, realm, timeline, dimension and multiverse, in the name of Yeshua.
I bind every voice that’s not the Holy Spirit. I bind my mind, will and emotions to you Holy Spirit. Father, FILL ME WITH YOUR Holy SPIRIT AND BAPTIZE ME WITH YOUR FIRE! 🔥🔥🔥 (Holy Spirit may overtake you and you may start flowing fast. IF that happens FANTASTIC! If not, THATS OK TOO. Just go to the next step below ⬇️)
Holy Spirit, give me just one word. (Pay attention to what you’re thinking on because whatever pops in your mind IS your word from him. No matter what it sounds like, SAY IT, and then KEEP SAYING IT over and over. Then he will give you another word and that one will flow back to back with the first word without you even thinking about it. It may sound like RABA, BABA, BOBO or baby talk, but just TRUST IT! DON’T DOUBT! Don’t think about how you sound and just DO IT! Turn on the you tube video in the comments below and listen to Apostle Jennifer praying in tongues and close your eyes and START SPEAKING!)
Holy Spirit said EVERYONE who prays this prayer will receive it IF they follow the instructions and speak what they hear and are thinking on and KEEP SPEAKING IT! Walk around your house and let it go! Keep the video playing for a while and Holy Spirit will take over like a WILDFIRE 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Don’t get discouraged if you’re still stuck on one word. You received if you got that word. You have to receive that word by faith and then speak it OVER AND OVER in obedience until it flows. It could take a day or two. It depends on how much you practice it. I’ve done this with lots of people and they all received. Some were slower to receive than others because they didn’t practice consistently like others but they all got it! I want to hear your testimonies even if you just your one word because that means YOU GOT IT!
I release the anointing to every person reading this prayer and DECREE Isaiah 10:27 that the anointing breaks the yoke. I DECREE John 8:36 that who the son sets free, IS FREE INDEED!)

PINE TREE FIRE INSURANCE

Unlike most pine trees, which open their cones and let the seeds slide out when ripe, the knobcone pine holds its ripe seeds sealed inside the pinecone. This cone is almost as hard as rock and will remain on the tree for as long as 50 years. These cones hug the trunk of the tree, so they are eventually swallowed by bark growing around them. But inside those cones, the seeds are still alive. Even if the tree dies, the waiting seeds continue to be alive. Still more time passes, and then a forest fire occurs.Since only a fire can release those seeds, they now spring into action! As the fire passes over the tree, the cones explode like popcorn. This explosion flings seeds everywhere, and they take root in the ashes after they have been cooled and wet by rain. In this way, these young trees grow and protect the forest floor from erosion. Later, other trees reforest the area along with them. Now obviously the tree didn't plan this out!
