Celebrating the Life of Lloyd Thomas

As a church family, we continue to hold Lloyd’s family and loved ones in our prayers during this time.

For those wishing to attend, Lloyd’s Celebration of Life Service will be held:

Thursday 25 June 1:00pm
Berwick Church of Christ
432–446 Centre Road, Berwick VIC 3806

For those unable to attend in person, the service will also be livestreamed. Simply click the “Live Stream – Berwick Church of Christ” button on the website from 1:00pm to watch the service online.

Please continue to keep Lloyd’s family in your prayers as we remember and celebrate his life.

Hey folks,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Lloyd Thomas passed away early Monday morning.

Lloyd and Robyn have been such wonderful and loved members of our family, and we are deeply grateful for the blessing Lloyd has been to so many of us.

Please be praying for Robyn and their family during this difficult time.

We will share funeral details as they come to hand.

While we grieve, we also give thanks to God, knowing that Lloyd is now with the Lord.

Family Service is happening this month!

We’d love to invite everyone to join us for a simple, relaxed service designed with the whole family in mind.

There’ll be time to hang out, family-friendly worship, a short message all can engage with together, and a shared meal afterwards.

It’s a beautiful space to connect, feel at home, and take a simple next step in community.

Happy Mother’s Day! 💐

Today we honour and celebrate the mums, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, aunties, carers, and all the women who love, nurture, encourage, and pour into others with such strength and grace.

We’re so grateful for the gift you are to your families, our church, and our wider community.

We also recognise that Mother’s Day can hold a mix of emotions for many, and we pray that each person would know the comfort, kindness, and nearness of God today.

Happy Mother’s Day, we love and appreciate you.

On Friday the 8th of May, Youth Alive Undivided is happening here at Winepress Church.

This is bigger than just another youth event — Youth Alive is all about reaching young people with the Gospel, raising leaders, and strengthening youth ministries, and Undivided is one of those nights designed for teenagers to bring their friends and encounter something real. It’s part of a state-wide movement happening across Victoria this term, and it’s going to be powerful.

So lock it in, invite your world, and come ready for an incredible night.
