​The service on the first Sunday of the month is usually a Communion Service. We are a small, strong church with a strong community service focus. We have a particular emphasis o

n programs aimed at people in the third age. Activities include Berry Community Library, Coffee and Friends, Berry Computers for Seniors and Berry "Social Craft" Group. We also have a strong social justice heart and have campaigned for climate justice, refugee justice and justice for the First Peoples in recent years, among other issues. We are a member of the Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC) and the Kiama & South Coast Group of ARRCC. We have been strong supporters of Rural Australians for Refugees Shoalhaven since its inception in September 2016. We gave birth to, and still have a strong association with, Berry Men's Shed.

5th Sunday Forum
On Sunday August 30th there will be a forum and discussion instead of the sermon in morning worship.
The topic will be: “In a chaotic World of dramatic change where do we find hope and what does it look like?”
A panel of three, consisting of David Millikan, Eloise Millikan and Gordon Bradbery, will sow the seeds and you’re invited to pose and share questions, thoughts and insights.

For 15 years, Berry Uniting Church and Berry Men’s Shed have jointly presented 2 Scholarships worth $750 to two students from each of the public High Schools in Nowra. Last Tuesday, 2 students from Bomaderry High School came to the Berry Mens Shed to receive their scholarships. The teachers select the students and they come along to tour the shed, join in morning tea then receive their awards. Bomaderry High School also presented an award to thank the Shed and the Church for their ongoing support. It was a great morning !
