On behalf of Anglicare, we would like to say a massive thank-you to everyone from our beautiful community who donated food and other items during our recent winter food drive appeal. We have filled over 120 boxes and they have just been picked up by Andrew from Anglicare to be distributed to people in need all around our city. Many thanks to everyone who contributed!

A big thank you to staff and students Berowra Public School for a great effort in supporting the Anglicare winter food drive! They are one of several local schools helping to provide food for people in need this winter.
It’s not too late to take part. Throughout July we are still collecting non-perishable food in the donation bins outside Coles Berowra and in the foyer at St Marks Anglican Church, Berowra. Thank you to everyone who has been involved so far!

We’ve been working through the book of Genesis for the last three years. Now we reach the final part, what is often referred to as Joseph’s story. It is full of sharp turns. From favour to rejection. From the pit to the palace. From deep wrongs to unexpected reconciliation. It raises real questions about suffering, waiting, and whether God is actually at work when life feels like a mess. This final section shows us a God who is present in all of it, patiently bringing about his purposes and showing grace where it seems least likely. Our Term 2 teaching series in Genesis 37–50 starts tomorrow!
