St John's Anglican Church Bentleigh

St John's Anglican Church Bentleigh St John's Anglican Church Bentleigh is a parish community within the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne. All are welcome.

Our new initiative in 2016 is a monthly Baby and Kids Market held on the third Saturday of each month in our church hall. We provide a quiet, friendly, warm space for people to come, have a chat, relax over a cup of coffee, light a candle, pray and generally "chill".



Our worship on Sunday morning is in the Anglican tradition with activities for children. There are midweek

services and various fellowship groups, and playgroups which meet in a purpose-built hall at the back of the church.

St John’s Anglican Church at 624 Centre Road, Bentleigh East, is a
post WW2 modernist cream brick church with a truncated A framed nave, spiky metal steeple, and facade with false arched
windows, pebbled wall finish and mosaic tiled spandrels. Erected in 1961-62 to replace an existing church on the site dating back to 1873. The roof of the church has deteriorated over the years with several leaks in many places. It needs to be replaced - sooner then later. Your contribution to assist in this project will be very much appreciated.
Please make your booking for the "Christmas in July Lunch" by contacting the parish office - details provided on the notice. it will be great to see many supporting this project and your attendance. Please make your booking early.
