Today's celebration of the 52nd Marian Festival was graced by the presence of Bishop Les Tomlinson, Bishop Emeritus of Sandhurst.

We are truly blessed to have been part of this beautiful celebration of faith, devotion to Our Blessed Mother, and prayers for peace.

May this special gathering continue to inspire us to grow in faith, unity, and love. 🙏💙

Massive shoutout to Kevin Lane from the Knights of the Southern Cross (KSC) for joining us today in praying the Rosary at Lake Weeroona! 🙏💙

We continue to pray for our young people, that they may find courage and strength in God and be reminded that He is always with us, no matter what.

There may be difficult moments when even showing up feels too hard, but one thing is certain: our Lord Jesus Christ will always meet us where we are. ❤️

You're always welcome to join us at Lake Weeroona! We gather for our Walking Rosary every fortnight on Thursdays at 5:30 PM, weather permitting.

Sandhurst Gather 2026 is happening at Bendigo!

📅 Saturday, 5 December 2026
⏰ 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
📍 St Kilian’s Parish, Bendigo

If you’re 16-35, this day is especially for you. Older adults are also very welcome to come along, join the celebration and support our young people.

Expect a day filled with Mass, praise and worship, music, games, food, a keynote, great conversations and plenty of opportunities to connect. 🙌🎶

But this is more than just a fun day out. It’s a chance to come together as one Church, celebrate our Catholic identity, grow in faith, encounter God and build friendships with others who are also on the journey.

RSVP is required, so make sure you register and save your place. And don’t come alone — invite a friend, bring your youth group, parish mates or anyone who might love to be part of it!

For these young people, music created space for joy, connection and a deeper experience of faith.

May we continue to discover the many ways God speaks to our hearts, sometimes even through a song. ❤️

Young Adults are coming alive! All praise and thanks to God!

We had fun catching-up after the Youth-led Mass at St Kilian's, presided by our beloved Fr Joe Taylor. Thank you, Lord, for these beautiful people who shared their time and gifts.

We would also like to thank Darren on keys, Chadd on bonggos, and Br Jhunel on vocals. May the Lord reward you with more blessings. Special thanks as well to Helen Mewburn for assisting us and to Fr Junray Rayna, for his guidance and support.

If you feel called and wanted to share your gifts as well, may it be in music or in altar serving, or even if you are just looking for a community, YOU ARE MOST WELCOME!

What happens when young adults make the effort to show up for one another? 🤍

Last night, some of our Bendigo young adults made the trip to Echuca to join the local young adults for Trivia Night and Alpha at St Mary’s Parish Hall.

There were plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition, and lots of good conversations. But beyond the fun, we also spent time reflecting on Matthew 9:9–13 and recognising how Jesus meets us where we are, especially in the parts of our lives that need healing.

And perhaps that’s what made the night even more meaningful: seeing relationships continue to grow.

Young people from different places, with different stories and at different stages of their faith, are becoming a community where they can feel safe to be themselves, ask questions, share life, have fun, and get to know God together.

Faith, friendship and fellowship — sometimes it simply begins by showing up. ❤️

A special thanks to Greg for helping make the Bendigo crew’s trip to Echuca possible, and to the wonderful community of St Mary’s Parish for making us feel so welcome.

A big shoutout as well to Fr Novie, Abilain and Ken for the care, encouragement and genuine love they continue to show the young people of Echuca. 🙌

Here’s to more moments of showing up for one another across Sandhurst. ✨
