Here's a short reel from Father's Day yesterday, on the eternal value of Dad's being disciple makers of Jesus - even if they are not valued with the world's currency.

You can see the article with the picture being spoken about on our Journal at Reforming's website.

Father’s Day is a celebration day, like the other days we celebrate, we celebrate our Fathers, our Dads.

I love my Dad, and all my life he has loved me and my sister - and our Mum.

Most of all, my Dad loves Jesus and His church. And you can see in that picture there that he loves the Bible, and loves to highlight his Bible (I imitate him in this habit, as you can see in that picture).

Yet, for some of us, Father’s Day can bring sadness. For, like many things in this world, Father’s Day is an imperfect day.

Hey beautiful Bendigo!

If you’d like to hear God speak, you can hear his voice in the Bible.

Come along on Sunday and meet Jesus in the Bible, you can use one of ours for our time together if you’d like.

And if you don’t own a Bible, then we have a gift for you!

God comes to you, speaks to you, and changes everything for you.

There are many vulnerable people in our society, some seen and some unseen.

From the unborn, to the underprivileged…

From defenseless little children, to teenagers, all ages can be bullied…

From the homeless and poor, to those with far less opportunities than most of us…

The vulnerable can become victims of abuse, and in our society, this surely could be almost anybody.

Can we see the vulnerable?

We have said it before here at Reforming, and it needs to be said every day in this fallen world – that conflict among relationships is always an opportunity for the gospel.

Since Jesus died for us when we were his enemies and now our names are in the Book of Life, we know that in our everyday conflict in relationships we encounter among our friends, family – and even our church family are all gospel opportunities.

But what about when it’s not “ordinary conflict” we encounter among our friend? What about when we meet abusive conflict?

What about when it’s not “ordinary conflict”? What about when we meet abusive conflict?

What about when it’s not “ordinary conflict”? What about when we meet abusive conflict?
