This Saka Dawa, you are invited to take part in a beautiful light offering ceremony at the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion. 🪔✨

Guided by the Machig Labdron Nunnery, this special afternoon honours one of the holiest and most sacred days in Tibetan Buddhism through prayers, offerings, and circumambulation of the Great Stupa.

You do not need to attend the ceremony to sponsor a light offering. A light can be offered in memory of a loved one, as a prayer for healing, for someone going through a difficult time, or simply with wishes of peace, happiness, and compassion for family and friends.

• Talk with Geshe Rabten
• Light offerings
• Circumambulation of the Stupa chanting Shakyamuni mantra

All proceeds from sponsored light offerings and donations will support the completion of the new Machig Labdron Nunnery gompa (temple).

MIFFI'S BIRTHDAY AT FPMTA REGIONAL MEETING, BENDIGO
The Atisha Buddhist Centre Bendigo hosts this weekend's annual regional meeting of FPMT centres across Australua and New Zealand. They have been the most generous and thoughtful hosts. Special guests Peeyush Argawal, the new Executive Director of FPMT, Venerable Gendun from FPMT In-Depth Training Program and Wai Cheong Kok, coordinator of the FPMT Basic and Masters Program and other teaching programs are in attendance. Over 45 centre directors, SPCs and executive are here at Atisha Centre which is co-located with the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion , Machig Labdron nunnery, and TSL monastery.
It was also one of our longest-serving SPCs, Miffi Maxmillion 's birthday! We will post more photos and news soon
