Our next Pop Up Op Shop is just around the corner, and we'd love your help filling the racks!

As our event has grown, so has our vision. Our goal is simple: to provide our community with good quality clothing at affordable prices.

So, when you're cleaning out your wardrobe, here's our little guide...

Clean, good quality, wearable clothing is exactly what we're looking for.

📍 Donation drop-off options:
• Under the covered area at the church (please send us a quick message to let us know you've dropped them off).
• Hairem Scarem, Strathdale.
• Can't get to us? Send us a message—we may even be able to collect your donations.

Every bag you donate helps us create an affordable shopping experience while continuing to support people and organisations within our community.

💛 WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO? 💛

It's a question we are often asked, and one we are proud to answer.

The Bendigo Pop Up Op Shop has been running for many many years, and while it originally began to help maintain our community building, it has grown into so much more than that.

Over the years, proceeds from the Pop Up Op Shop have helped support local people, local organisations, and communities in times of need.

Some of the causes and organisations we have supported include:

🤍 Bendigo Winter Night Shelter – providing meals and support
🤍 Salvation Army Food Bank – food donations for local families
🤍 Sunshine Bendigo – baby clothing and essential baby items
🤍 Dementia Australia
🤍 Food Share
🤍 Uniting Care Christmas food programs for families in need
🤍 KinCarers Camps – supporting young carers and their families through monetary donations
🤍 Harcourt Bush Fire Relief
🤍 Rochester Flood Relief
🤍 Mallacoota Bush Fire Relief
🤍 International Youth Forum

We have also invested back into our community building, helping maintain a space that continues to be used by community groups, support services, programs and local gatherings.

Every donation dropped off.
Every volunteer hour given.
Every bargain purchased.

It all adds up to something much bigger than an op shop.

It helps us continue supporting people, strengthening community connections, and responding when help is needed most.

To everyone who has donated, volunteered, shopped and supported us over the years... thank you.

As another Pop Up Op Shop comes to a close, we simply want to say thank you.

Thank you to everyone who donated. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time. Thank you to everyone who shopped. Thank you to everyone who shared our posts, told a friend, or helped spread the word.

What may look like a few days of bargain shopping is actually months of collecting, sorting, folding, pricing and preparing. None of it would be possible without the incredible support of our volunteers and community.

Every bag donated, every purchase made and every hour given helps us continue supporting people and organisations both locally and beyond.

The Pop Up Op Shop has always been about more than clothes. It's about community, connection and helping where we can.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of it.

We are incredibly grateful for your support and look forward to doing it all again next time.
