Dear Friends

The Funeral for Pastor Daryl Marshall will be held at Life Church Benalla on Friday 5 June 2026.

Funeral Service commences: 10am
Reception (light refreshments) from approx: 1pm
Address: 4 Howard Street, Benalla, Vic 3672

A private graveside committal will be held immediately following the service, with the family returning to the church for the 1pm Reception. Attendees are warmly invited to remain at the church for tea and coffee, until the family returns for the Reception.

We look forward to honouring the life and legacy of our much loved Senior Pastor. We also look forward to hearing the tales of Dasha mischief at the reception. We know there are many!

Notes:

Parking: Limited on-site parking is available at the church. Volunteer parking attendants in high-vis will give parking directions. Please carpool if possible. Extra parking: The gates from Chiswell Court (rear of the church) will be open for pedestrian access. On street parking is available in Chiswell Court and in the surrounding streets.

Live stream: The YouTube live stream link will be posted a day ahead of the funeral on the church page.

Pastor Daryl’s Funeral will be held at

Life Church Benalla
4 Howard St (via Ryan St)
Benalla, Vic - 10am - Friday 5 June.

Straight after the funeral service *immediate family only* will leave for a private committal service, returning back to the church where light refreshments will be served from approximately 1 pm. 

A warm invitation is extended to everyone for the 10am funeral service and the 1pm refreshments, however, we ask that the immediate family is given privacy for the committal service.

Dear Church

It’s with a heavy heart we share the news that in the early hours of this morning 25 May 2026 Pastor Daryl Marshall went home to be with the Lord.

There is no doubt he heard the words, ‘well done good and faithfull servant’ as he entered the presence of Jesus.

Church, we have faithfully contended to the end for a miracle, and there have been so many along the way these last few days. The peaceful presence of the Holy Spirit has been with us always and we trust Gods will.

Daryl, we love you so much and are so blessed to call you Dad.

Dear Life Church

Just sharing some news with you that Pastor Daryl suffered a heart attack yesterday afternoon and has been transferred to Melbourne this morning. He is now under the care of a specialist cardiology team. Daryl’s condition is serious but he is stable.

Please join with us in praying for Daryl. Here are some suggested prayer points:

- Pray for a creative healing miracle in Daryl’s heart.
- Pray for the medical team that they are given wisdom on the treatment path forward.
- Pray for peace for Daryl and Pam as they walk this journey.
