The Bethlehem Assembly of God in Mt Warren Park is a non-profit organization, and it was created with the purpose to help the Brazilian community and all other Portuguese speakers such as: Portugue
se, some African community and others whom are living in the Brisbane Area; whom are having difficulties in getting connected in the Australian Community in their first arrival. We work with each person as an individual and also with their families, by helping spiritually and psychologically, to prepare all of them to be involved in the Australian community; and at the same time we teach the Word of God by keeping all the good culture that we have received as Christians, and in addition we still keep alive the heritage of our Brazilian Portuguese language, traditions and culture for us and our children. As a Church we help the spiritual needs of every individual person who gets in contact with us, where we work inside their family relationship, friendship, work enrolment and any areas that shows some specific need or attention. Main Church Meeting Services:
When: Every Saturday Nights
Location: Regional United Church in Mt Warren Park. From:05:30 pm to 08:00 pm
It's a time of Prayer, Worship, Preaching The Gospel, and Seeking God’s Blessings for the families. A Specific Service Celebration for Each Saturday:
• On the First Saturday is The Holy Communion. We teach about Jesus’ Sacrifice for our Forgiveness and we Celebrate “The Holy Supper” with The Church all united as one.
• On the Second Saturday is Constant Prayer. We give more attention Praying for troubles, sicknesses and all needs of our Congregation by teaching the importance of Prayer.
• On the Third Saturday is the families’ Service. We stimulate the good values of being a family; love one for another, raising children, building good, strong and healthy families.
• On the Fourth Saturday is the Faith’s Service. We teach about being Faithful; growing knowledge to become a true winner at work, schools, as a father, as a mother and as a person.
• On the Fifth Saturday, when it occurs; it’s a Special Service which in that occasion we celebrate with a special fundraising dinner, in order to provide financial support for our projects and regular Services.
2. Sisters’ Connection:
Every Saturday Mornings: Special Prayer Meetings for the ladies in our Church. They have breakfast together at 9 am and together they learn Biblical solutions for domestic life, family values, time management, modest beauty, self-control and much more.
3. Youth Time:
Friday Nights Encounter with our teenagers and youth group; where they have fun, Fellowship, learn to Pray, public speaking, singing training, discovering music, discovering artistic or communication skills, and at the same time they are encouraged and motivated to have an experience with The Lord Jesus and compassion for their neighbours.
4. Powerful Prayer:
Strong Call for Spiritual Experience. Every Friday Night to Saturday 1:30 am. This Service is for all the brothers and sisters who have decided to go into a deeper Prayer Relationship with The Lord Jesus. This Prayer goes for all night long and it finishes with a good Fellowship and a Blessed breakfast early in the morning.
5. Saving Families:
Intensive Rescue for Families Facing Difficulties. The Pastor or some of the elder brothers of our Church visit some family homes that are facing some kind of crisis or are in need, and they are rescued at that time; with love, Prayer, counselling, and special home Bible study until there is a full restoration of harmony in their home.
6. Lets Party:
Church Community Monthly Birthday Celebration. For all the brothers and sisters who are celebrating their birthdays at their correspondent month.
