🎉 AND IT IS DONE! STAGE ONE COMPLETE!
We are excited to announce that Stage One of our church renovation project is officially finished! 👏
The front doors are finally painted, and our new handrails have been installed and painted. It's wonderful to see another step forward in bringing new life to our church facilities!
NOW ON TO STAGE TWO!
Our attention now turns to something very close to our hearts — creating a permanent home for Tracey's Pantry. ❤️
Judy and her wonderful team of volunteers do an amazing job supporting members of our Beaudesert community who are doing it tough, providing much-needed food hampers to individuals and families in need.
Our goal is to provide Tracey's Pantry with a welcoming, practical and permanent space that will enable Judy and her team to continue and expand the wonderful work they do in our community.
👀 WATCH THIS SPACE!
Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing ways you may be able to lend a hand and help make this vision a reality.
Whether it's through fundraising, volunteering or simply spreading the word, every little bit of support will help us get closer to giving Tracey's Pantry the home it deserves.
Together, we can make a real difference in our Beaudesert community! ❤️

🌿 Welcome Aboard, Robyn! 🌿
We are delighted to welcome Robyn Barnes, our new Administration Assistant, who commenced work in the Scenic Rim Uniting Church office this week.
Robyn will be in the office Monday to Thursday, from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm.
As a Church Councillor with Scenic Rim Uniting Church and a local Beaudesert resident, Robyn already has a strong connection with both our church community and the wider Beaudesert community. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge about the workings of the Uniting Church Australia, along with an understanding of the history of our Beaudesert and Canungra Worship Centres.
We are very pleased to have Robyn joining us in this important role and look forward to the contribution she will make to the life and ministry of our church.
Welcome aboard, Robyn! We hope you enjoy your new role and wish you every blessing as you begin this new chapter with us. 💐

We were truly blessed to welcome our Presbytery Minister, the Reverend Catherine Solomon, to share her sermon at our combined service last Sunday, bringing together members of our Canungra and Beaudesert congregation at the Beaudesert Worship Centre.
Catherine’s joyful spirit and the message she shared through her sermon were truly uplifting and an encouragement to us all. We were also very grateful that she generously stayed following the service to be present for our Annual General Meeting.
Thank you, Catherine, for sharing your time, your faith and your ministry with us. We greatly appreciated having you with us.

Have you ever wondered about the story behind Tracey's Pantry?
Meet Judy Day. This is her story, and why she started Tracey's Pantry.
After Judy tragically lost her daughter Tracey, aged only 57, to cancer the loving mum had a deep desire to do something good for the Beaudesert community to keep Tracey’s memory alive.
“Tracey loved cooking and she loved giving things to people, so after she died, I donated her freezer to Scenic Rim Uniting Church to store food supplies for those in need. I told the church: ‘It’d be great if we could keep the freezer full of food in case people come to the church hungry’. It was a lovely way to remember Tracey… because she did so much for people in her life.” – Judy

Sending out a huge thank you to Bill O'Sullivan who has donated a 600L freezer to Tracey's Pantry. This will be a wonderful addition to Tracey's Pantry's new home that we hope to start work on building, this year.
