Members of the community in Batemans Bay gathered together last night at the Anglican Church to show their support for the Jewish Community following the tragedy that happened in Bondi.

A huge thankyou to those who joined us yesterday Sunday 30 November to celebrate Doug and Julies farewell service at BBay Anglican. It was humbling to have people come from so far, Albury, Canberra, Wollongong, and so near to share in the day. It was a triple whammy day - Doug's last day as Rector of the Parish, his 20th anniversary (to the day) of ordination and just short of 51 years of full time employment - now retired and retired!! As we prepared for the day we lost our beloved Susan Fur Person to a long struggle with diabetes. It was very special to acknowledge Julies key role in our ministry and also to have family present. Julie is speaking in front of the flower arrangement that Neil and Sallianne sent (awesome - thanks), Ann the Locum from today taking responsibility for the word of God, communion with Di and Helen assisting, family and the stole on the altar - its a wrap and from Doug it will now be QRT this channel.
