April is a great month to come say hello and check out Bargo Baptist Church 🤗💒.

We welcome newcomers and old friends alike. Maybe life got busy and you’ve gotten out of the habit of attending a service. Perhaps all the talk of easter lately has brought up questions you have about Jesus and the cross ✝️. Maybe you’re bored and just need to get out of the house. Whatever the reason that brings you, there’s a seat waiting for you here 🪑.

🟠🟡 It’s competition time for the kids! 🟡🟠

Tell us: what is your favourite thing about easter?

One entry per child 👧🏻👦🏽 aged 12 and under. If your little one isn’t old enough to answer on their own, parents you can enter on their behalf and tell us what you’re looking forward to doing with your child this easter, or share a favourite past memory 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒✝️.

👀 🔍 If you look closely you’ll see both the girl and boy prizes 📕🍫 🖍️ contain activity books, the Easter story, chocolatey treats and Easter bikkies, plus some extra fun bits to enjoy over the school holidays 🎉.

Easter eggs can be used to remind us that although things can be special, shiny, and enjoyable, nothing is as valuable or sweet as the gift Jesus offers us - eternal life after He conquered death. ✝️🥚 Hollow hunting eggs are also empty - just like the tomb that first resurrection (easter) Sunday!

Resurrection Sunday (aka Easter Sunday) is about remembering the sacrifice ✝️ and celebrating new life 🌅 found in Jesus!

BBC welcomes each of you to join our community at 🕚 10am on April 5th 🗓️. Together we’ll learn, watch, pray, and sing as we celebrate the true sweet joy of easter 🎉🙌😀.

Afterwards enjoy some yummy food 🍓🥐🍡🥨🍩🥧🍒🥟 while the 👧🏻👦 kids do an outdoor easter egg hunt 🍫.

ℹ️ Our church building is within walking distance of the local train station, wheelchair accessible, has plenty of parking, and a playroom for babies and toddlers.

Good Friday feels special when you reflect on its true meaning and what Jesus has done for all of us 🤔🙌. Here in Bargo we’ll have a chair waiting just for you - why not start your public holiday off a bit differently and spend ✝️ Good Friday morning with us?

The short service begins at 8:30am (containing a Bible message, worship songs, and prayer). Connect with other locals afterwards over a cuppa ☕️ and hot cross buns➕🍞.

Each year on the Sunday just before Christmas our BBC community gathers to share a meal together to celebrate the year that’s been and how God has sustained us 🌟 🍽.

We welcome friends old and new to join us on ✳️ Sunday December 21st ✳️ for lunch after the service.

As always you can come alone or with a neighbour or family member. If you want to bring a plate to add to the table for our potluck lunch, it’s always appreciated, but not obligatory (there’s plenty to go around).

BBC has a playroom for babies and toddlers, KidsChurch for pre + primary schoolers, lots of space and our building is wheelchair accessible. There’s no better time than now to come say hello, meet some new people or reconnect with old friends, and see what our community is all about as we aim to learn, live and love following the example Jesus set ✝️.
