Bargara Presbyterian Our desire is to share the great news of Jesus with our community and be a blessing to Bargara. We read the Bible, pray and sing together.

Our desire is to share the great news of Jesus with the Bundaberg region, and be a blessing to our community. We are an ordinary group of people who believe Jesus makes the difference in life. On Sunday arvo’s we meet together to worship God and encourage each other. Our service lasts for about 1 hour, it’s fairly relaxed and informal. Our minister will speak for about 25mins explaining and teachi

ng from the Bible. Some days there will be a kid’s talk, or someone from our church community will share their story. We regularly eat together after the service..

Join the guys for an overnighter at Peirsons farm. Step away from the noise, relax around the fire, share some good food, and spend time with other blokes working out what it is to follow Jesus.

Whether you’ve been part of church for years or consider yourself a newcomer, this night away is for you. Expect deepening of relationships, Biblical exposition from David Cook (previous Principal of Sydney Missionary & Bible College) and time to chill out. You can camp or request a bed inside. Register below ASAP so we can work out numbers for bacon…..or veggies.

Come along to our Good Friday service, 4:30pm at Bargara State School (Potters Road car park).

Christianity is based on real historical events culminating in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. Look upon Him this Easter. See the punishment for sin borne by Jesus on the cross, reconciling us to a right relationship with the God who made us.

We’d love to celebrate Easter with you at 1 of our services; Good Friday at the Hall and Easter Sunday at the Beach.

Our mid-week small groups are in full swing for Term 1. There are multiple groups (like the one pictured) that meet together on different days. Groups eat together, pray and read the Bible.

If you’re not in a group and would like to be, chat to Liz or Jono and get connected! Following Jesus is not just a Sunday thing; our whole lives are shaped by worship. That said, you don’t have to have your response to Jesus neatly figured out to join a small group, as they’re a great place to keep asking questions.

Hope Explored is on tomorrow, 3pm at the school and you’re invited to come along.

We spend a lot of life chasing moments of calm — a sleep in, a massge or a holiday, but they never seem to last. Is it possible to have a peace that lasts and isn’t shaken by circumstances?

At Hope Explored we’ll watch a short video and talk together about the kind of peace Jesus offers — a peace that reaches past anxiety, suffering and even death.
