It is a mistake when we approach the Christian life like we're following a map. A to-do list. A programme. A ladder to climb, and if we get it right, somewhere at the end, God is waiting.

But that is not what Jesus had in mind.

You don't need a map. You need a guide and the guide is Jesus; he's already with you.

We covered obedience, discipleship, baptism, restoration, and what it actually means to strive and came back to where it all begins:
I am with you always.

Check out, the full sermon below:

We have domesticated the Holy Spirit.
We have taken the wildfire of Pentecost and turned it into a candle we can manage. We pay lip service to the Spirit's power while making sure nothing ever gets too uncomfortable.
But what if the problem is not a lack of the Spirit's presence. What if the problem is us.
What are your thoughts? Have you seen the real thing?

What if the same breath that created everything - stars, oceans, you - is the very breath God wants to breathe into your life right now?

This Pentecost, we're reminded that the Holy Spirit isn't a gentle nudge. It's the creative power behind all of existence.

If you've ever wondered whether God can really change a person, change a situation, change you - this is for you.

The disciples were told to wait. But waiting didn't mean sitting still, it meant gathering. Together. In prayer.

When we gather as the body of Christ, we don't just bring ourselves we bring the fuller gifts of Christ present in one another. That changes everything about what it means to wait.

This Pentecost, we're asking: what does faithful waiting actually look like?
