What a great day!

Pentecost is the patronal feast of the Holy Spirit Seminary and so on this day we celebrate with the whole seminary community, students, staff, family, benefactors, supporters and friends.

Together we celebrated the feast day Mass, and then enjoyed the lunch which followed.

Thanks to all who make the Holy Spirit Seminary the outstanding community of formation that it is.

For the last 80 years the Banyo Seminary has trained priests for all 5 dioceses of Queensland. At Holy Spirit Seminary this work continues today, as men come from all over Queensland to undertake formation.

Rockhampton seminarian Shane Pianta recently spoke with the Catholic Foundation about his journey from Winton to the Seminary in Brisbane.
