Australian Catholic Students Association: AGM Notice
The ACSA AGM will take place this year on 9 July at 2:00 PM at Queen’s College in Melbourne, Victoria. Please send all nominations and motions to the Returning Officer at [email protected]
Nominations will be open until 25 June at 10.00am. The pertinent section from the constitution regarding elections can be found below. If you require further information, please contact the ACSA secretary at [email protected]
Conditions for nomination:
To nominate for a position, the person must be enrolled, or deferred study, at a tertiary institution or house of formation. For a candidate to stand at the AGM, they must have their nomination submitted with a mover and seconder, and a notation accepting the nomination prior to the date of close of nominations. Should a position receive nil nominations, nominations may be
called from the floor that position during the AGM. Nominations for those positions which have attracted candidates cannot be reopened to the floor. Honorary and Life Members can vote, but not run for positions on the executive. The executive positions available are:
