MOTHERS DAY

Today in many parts of the world we celebrate and honour Mothers and motherhood, maternal bonds and the influence mothers have on our lives and in society.

Here in Australia we celebrate Mothers Day on the 2nd Sunday in May.
In some Countries it is in March.

We especially remember our own loving Mothers both with us or now in Gods loving care, and those who this day will become a Mother.

Our Parish Priest, Fr. Thomas, has included this beautiful prayer in our Church services for today here at St Paul’s Bakery Hill.

Our cemeteries will be especially adorned with mostly beautiful white flowers as many also use this day, as a pilgrimage to visit them.

With blessings 🙏
