The King's Journey : The Cost and Grace of Kingdom Life
Luke 13:22-17:10

In our conversation this Sunday, we were shown a Kingdom that asks for everything and gives more than we could ever deserve. It demands a priority so radical that even family, possessions, comfort and reputation fall into second place. But Luke also points out how the same Kingdom overflows grace that outruns our failures.

In these chapters, Jesus shows that life is both:
A radical reordering of priorities - nothing matters more than following Him
A resting in extravagant grace - everything depends on what God has done, not what we can offer.
The call is costly.
The welcome is free.
And together, they form the shape of Kingdom life.

"Kingdom life demands radical priorities and rests on God's extravagant grace."
- Ptr. Obet Peralta

We have been encouraged to shift our focus from what is temporary to what is eternal - to seek God’s Kingdom above all else.

“But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.”
— Luke 12:31

The Kingdom of God may begin like a mustard seed or work quietly like yeast, but its impact grows and reaches far beyond what we can see.

Don’t spend your life only chasing what is temporary.

Live with what is eternal to enter the Kingdom. ✨

Last Sunday, Sis Mille reminded us to choose what truly matters and live with eternal priorities.

Martha was busy, worried and distracted. Mary chose to sit in the presence of Jesus, and Jesus said she had “chosen what is better.”

Life will always give us something to worry about, something to accomplish, and somewhere to rush to. But in all the busyness, may we never lose sight of what truly matters.

Choose His presence.
Choose His Kingdom.
Choose what is eternal. ☝🏻

Following Jesus is more than a moment - it is a lifelong priority. ☝🏻

When Jesus says, “Follow me,” He calls us to put His Kingdom before our comfort, plans, and distractions. Our priority to serve Jesus begins the moment we receive Him and continues until the Father calls us home.

May our lives say, “Jesus, You come first.”

Live with eternal priorities. ✨️

Love as The Fruit of Love for the Kingdom of God
Luke 9:51-13-21

When Jesus set His face toward Jerusalem, He drew a line between what fades and what lasts. And the call is simple : Live for what will outlive you. Because everything in this conversation whispers the same truth - that only what is rooted in God's Kingdom will remain. So plant your life on what is eternal, and watch God grow something that never dies. Let go of the temporary and live with eternal priorities.

"Live with what is eternal to enter the kingdom."

This weekend, may we be reminded that humility and faithfulness help us see Christ more clearly. When we humble our hearts and remain faithful to God, our faith grows stronger—and we begin to see more of the greatness of His Kingdom.

Let’s continue to pray, not only for greater blessings, but for humble hearts, steadfast faith, and eyes that remain focused on Christ. 🙏

“Lord, help us stay humble and faithful, so we may see Christ more clearly and experience the greatness of Your Kingdom.” ❤️

Have a blessed and faith-filled weekend, Church family! ⛪️

Jesus — The Great and Humble King 👑

Last Sunday, Bro. Joven reminded us through Luke 7:1–9:50 that Jesus is not only great in power—He is also great in humility.

The world teaches us to seek recognition, position, and greatness. But Jesus shows us a different way: true greatness is found in serving, loving, obeying, and humbling ourselves before God.

He is the King who has all authority, yet He draws near to the broken.
He is powerful, yet compassionate.
He is worthy of all glory, yet He teaches us to serve others.

May we not simply admire Jesus as the Great King—may we follow Him as our humble King.

This week, let’s ask ourselves:

“Does my life reflect the greatness and humility of Jesus?”

May our words, choices, relationships, and service point people back to Him.

Jesus is great. Jesus is humble. Jesus is worthy. 👑❤️

Last Sunday, we were reminded that Jesus is unlike any earthly king. He carries all authority and power, yet He welcomes the broken, serves with compassion, forgives sinners, calms storms, heals the sick, and patiently teaches His disciples.

His greatness does not make Him distant. His humility brings Him close. Trust His authority, received His grace, and follow His example of humble service. 🙌🏻✨
