Rabbinical Lead – Engagement & Heritage

Are you an engaging Rabbi who loves creating new ideas, and building community?

Sassoon Yehuda Sephardi Synagogue is looking for an enthusiastic Rabbi to join our Rabbinical Team and help us shape and grow the next chapter of our growing Sephardi community.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people of all ages, can turn ideas into programs, and is excited by the opportunity to help grow involvement in a warm and vibrant Sephardi community.

This is a new role and you will work alongside Rabbi Benjamin Kessly; with a different and complementary focus on community engagement, education, events, culture and Sephardi heritage.

This is a part-time contract position, initially offered on a short-term basis, with the opportunity to extend based on the success of the role.

The position reports to the President, and the successful candidate will need to live within walking distance of our Synagogue in Balaclava.

For more information, please reach out to President Joanne Levy – [email protected]
